Bears resign TE Kellen Davis. I'm a Davis fan, so that's good.

Jags can win some games with Henne.

I don't think a team can resign a player or a player can technically resign from a team, so I am confused by what you say. They DID re-sign him though....(you're a professor, remember the dash dammit)

Not really but all we have now is Tavarus and Josh Portis so these are desperate times. If i had my way they'd first trade for Jake Locker or second sign Matt Flynn. Tannehill i could live with.

Nice signing by KC with Hillis. He played well in Daboll's offense.

Tannehill is Locker lite IMO. Last year I thought it would be pretty cool if Locker ended up in Seattle since he played his college ball up that way. I think Tannehill would be a good fit up there too. I do however think they are going to end up signing Flynn.
If you plug Flynn in with Baldwin and a healthy Sidney Rice to go along with a heavy dose of Lynch they will have a respectable offense to go along with a pretty solid defense.

I don't think the Titans would trade Jake. But If they were intrested, I wonder how much we could get for him?

I would rather have Tolbert but RB depth is much needed so I can live with this.

Even with Manning, Locker still is the future.

Hillis is no risk, but I would have preferred Tolbert as well.

Still, he only has a 4 year deal. Not sure how long or if he'd be a RFA after that but its not like they have forever.

Meh....it's unnecessary in this context, since it's impossible to resign a player, as you said.

In 4 years Manning will be 39... They will know if he is worth it by then, franchise tag.

Why? Hillis when healthy is a ******* animal. It sucks to see him go being a Cleveland fan... You guys are getting a beast.

Yeah, but he's already in year 2. My conservative guess is Manning plays two more seasons. He could play 3. Then you don't know what you have in Locker. Plus you could get a valuable asset that could help you win while you have Manning if you trade Locker.

There have been some awful signings so far. 32.5 mil for Laurent Robinson? Really? I'm not sure if that's Eric Wright bad, but it's close.

Words cannot express how happy I am that the Lions did not pay Eric Wright that money. I know our secondary sucks ass but he certainly didn't help it much.

I've thought about it. It is worse. At least Wright has a history of being a starter in the league, albeit a marginal one.

I think Tolbert is a pretty underrated player. I watch alot of SD games with them being in the West and I love what he brings to the table.
I'm not sure which Hillis the Chiefs are getting.

Yeah the entire Dallas board pretty much laughed at his expectation of 6 million per. I'm not surprised he got more considering how fast the market completely disappeared.
Keep in mind the cap is going to skyrocket with the new TV deals which will affect all contracts.
