I'm glad the Bills finally upgraded their talent, although there's no way I would have been involved in sweepstakes for a guy commanding $50 million guaranteed.

$50 mil guaranteed isnt to much for a guy that good and that young.

Do the Bills go and draft another DE like Perry and just have one of the better front fours in football?

To win that division the Bills have to take it from the Patriots and to do that they have to get to Brady. I think they should draft the best DE available to them at #10. Make the Pats OLine work for it.
Also, no story is complete unless it mentions the Packers, so chill JMike, I got this one:
Aaron Rodgers @AaronRodgers12
Congrats to Mario Williams signing in buffalo... far away from the NFC north, thanks big guy

Who the 4th d-lineman is is irrelevant. It'll be like when the Vikings had Allen and the Williamses and Ray Edwards was getting like 8-9 sacks.
Whoever the Bills put in there will get 8 sacks just by the mere fact that the other 3 require the full attention of the offense.

Too much money. Too much risk. I realize you're Buffalo and you're desperate to do something big, but I think there's too much risk here for a guy that's great, but not phenomenal.
I say this recognizing that it's infinitely better than a lot of the stupid signings teams have made this offseason, I'm just not in love with it like I think a lot of people will be.

Buffalo should try to move down in one or take an OT or Floyd. They can probably get a rush end in the 2nd or 3rd.

So the deal is reportedly a 6year/$100m deal with $50m guaranteed. Wowza.

him being hurt every single year has a lot to do with his awful play though too. I think he was showing signs of life before his last injury.

Unless you're a Bills fan you really don't know what this means. This is almost a Reggie White like signing for us.
Still a lot of holes on this team but it shows that at least management is willing to spend. Something they haven't really done before.
Before today the Bills have never given a contract that doled out more than 10M a year. Now they just signed one of the best DE's in the NFL who's going to hit his prime to a 6yr/96M/50GTD offer.

Mike Brown will only pay someone that is not named Carson Palmer in 2013 when he is required to spend 90% of the salary cap.
