******* carolina. i have stewart and williams in a keeper league and they went from both being valuable to being worthless. ****. i don't even get why you throw money at williams. stewart would be just as productive in the lead role and goodson showed he can make a very nice spell back last year.

im inclined to think that moss, gaffney, stokley and stallworth would have sucked 5 years ago.
now its just a gigantic abortion of a WR corps

AdamSchefter Adam Schefter
CB Drayton Florence to the Bills -- 3 years for $15 million.
Florence chooses Bills over Jets....Bills would offer a starting gig for him.

The Deadskins love their washed up receivers. They should go get Freddie Mitchell and James Thrash while they're at it.

Hooray! That's actually pretty perfect. Had to happen with my namesake no longer being able to be counted on.

I love it, too. No way I thought he would play 8 more years after we let him go all those years ago. Good for him.

Can a mod sticky this? Seems like something that should be done for now...
Also, any news on Whitner or Bigby anywhere? And has anyone contacted Addai?

How hard are the Bears trying to steal away James Jones and Cullen Jenkins from the Packers?
Washington will pay a sh***oad to Cullen though.....

PFT agrees with me on Carolina:

Based on all these deals, they’ve got plenty of core players. The next question is whether the core players can produce more than two wins.

For some reason Carolina scares me a bit this year. Especially if Steve Smith somehow stays.

not bad enough apparently.
any time he would keep brown and sanders off the field in 2011 would be wasted time

I have not heard that we're trying to get either at the moment. The focus is on Saints T Jermon Bushrod.

Not with Jim Jim or Cammy Cam at QB they don't. And in a division where every other team has legitimate playoff potential? Nah.

Unless Cam Newton plays like Warren Moon or something I'd be surprised if Carolina has more than 6 wins.

I don't think Carolina is gonna be a playoff contender or anything, but I agree they will knock some people off. I could see 6-7 wins easily. They just quit last year. They have lots of talent.

I like Cam Newton a hell of a lot more than I like Matt Moore or Jimmy Clausen.

Jimmy Clausen was AWFUL last year, and Newton is brutally raw. Maybe I'd buy 4 wins if Newton uses his athleticism rookie-VY style to snatch a win or two, but their division is hellishly strong plus they have to play the NFC North and AFC South. Not easy by any stretch.

At least he can run when the line breaks down.
