*** probably shouldn't be censored on a forum that mostly revolves around names, like this one does.

if he turns his back to the qb you are doomed. If he keeps everything in front, pretty decent player. Solid tackler, unless he is tackling Peterson.

Implying that high schoolers would be the only people to misuse it is misguided really haha. Its far worse than that.

Patriots fans seem to be very divided on which receivers will make the cut. Deion Branch was in Seattle while McDaniels was coordinating and Ochocinco may have better luck with Josh than Bill O'Brien. There will certainly be a very intense roster battle between those guys, Anthony Gonzalez, Julian Edelman, Donte' Stallworth, etc.

Does it matter who your WRs are when Brady is still slinging the ball all over the field? I feel as though he makes mediocre WRs look all-pro.

I didn't realize how uninspiring the Pats WR talent is, until just now.
I guess that having two top pass-catching TEs can mask some deficiencies.

Chad didn't seem to have lost his athleticism, he just couldn't figure out the playbook and made a lot of mental mistakes. That could be because of the lockout-shortened offseason, so how much progress he makes in that regard will likely determine if he's on the team in 2012.

Well, the top four receiving options are Welker, Lloyd, Gronkowski, and Hernandez. Most teams would kill for four legitimate weapons. There are a lot of players competing to be the fifth and sixth options, although a lot of Patriots fans are hoping for some young blood at receiver as well.

strongly disagree. regardless, even if he has success, he'll just squander it when he starts trying to figure out what td dance he wants to do the next week. or he'll just keep dropping passes.

It's been pretty well-established that most of his problems were in regards to picking up the zone-read offense after coming from Cincinnati's simplified systems. He'd be running an out route where Brady expected an in, which would lead to some head-scratching throws. I wouldn't call him a lock or even likely to make the team, but if Belichick thought he was done physically he wouldn't be getting that shot this year. Athletically he's way ahead of Deion Branch at this point.
