It was under the condition that he was removed. Has this not happened?
Screw you Packers! GO CUTLER!

I don't think Winston should have been cut but he was far from great with the Chiefs.

Andrew Luck's neck beard beckons you, viddy. It siddles up behind you and whispers "vidae you smellin' fine".

9th best RT in football. Best run blocker on the team. Allowed a whopping 3 sacks all year.
My team's right tackle allowed twice as many sacks in one game.

No. BAD.
The Bears have Cutler, and Cutler has dragons. If we go by relative arm strength, Luck has iguanas if you're lucky.

My biggest problem is this: you don't actively try to create holes on your team. You don't go out of your way to make holes. The Chiefs did just that.

You know what this reminds me of?
Step one: trade Brandon Marshall, a true #1 WR, for nothing
Step two: whine and moan that you need a #1 WR
Step three: sign Mike Wallace, a nice #2 WR for more money than Marshall makes (according to rumors, anyway)

I agree that the situations are similar, but at least Marshall had some off the field issues/baggage. Winston, outside of wrongly accusing the entire Chiefs fanbase of cheering when Cassel got hurt, was a good teammate and was good in the community.
I dunno, this still makes NO sense to me, but we'll see how it works out.

Please come back to the Texans Winston, we miss you! I miss watching that caveman blow open holes for Foster to gallop through like a palamino stallion.

I'm sure there's good reason it probably won't happen, but why shouldn't the Chiefs trade away Tamba Hali? It would allow them to get younger and open up their options more with the #1 pick.

The Chiefs are just drunk. But they should probably sober up soon...

Trading Tamba Hali makes no sense. He's a Pro Bowl OLB who is producing.

You're right, you should probably just cut him.

It makes absolutely no sense, so expect Tamba to be traded or cut before FA starts.
Yay, go Chiefs.

So you see no appeal in having more flexibility with the #1 pick and getting compensation in return for Hali. Let's say for example, trading him to the Falcons for pick 30. :D

Well think of this as payback for signing Lilja after Bill Polian stupidly cut him a few years ago.

Eric Berry to the 49ers for pick #31. Would even out how badly the 49ers got boned in the Alex Smith deal.

I wonder if the Chiefs even tried to trade him and get some compensation. Considering his contract wasn't too bad, there should have been some market for him.
