Really confused by the move. Maybe this frees up enough room to re-sign Sean Smith and/or Jake.

I hope St. Louis didn't vastly overpay for Cook. He's never had a 50 catch season. Inconsistent. Heck of an athlete with upside, but I'm not sure what the problem is after 4 years.

Ellerbe plays Dansby's position. Ellerbe is younger, cheaper and hitting his "prime" years. Just the way it works.

And I would love to bring back Long. If St. Louis doesnt blow him away, he's prob coming back. Smith, I dont give two shits about.

Ellerbe is now one of the highest paid linebackers in the NFL. I'm not sure "cheaper" is a thing here.

Why because he didn't sign with Tampa? I bet Jared Cook got paid significantly more and Martellus is just as good of a pass catcher and the blocking upgrade isn't even close.

If they draft Fluker at 20 their line has had a rehaul and will be much improved. After that SF primetime game I would probably be blowing it up too.

Well no he isnt cheap but he is "cheaper" compared to what Dansby was getting paid.

Hm, not exactly. I could care less about him going to Tampa. The draft has a deeper class, so not exactly worried. Also, those words never left my mouth, so assumming makes you look bad.

I agree, Cook is overpaid most likely. But Bennett had 1 solid year. I liked his upside, but Eli has done well with almost every TE he's had in NY. Bit of a risk here.

I do like the BEars signing of Bushrod. Not great LT, but a good one.

Lol agreed. Last year, he continued to say the Bucs were a lock to sign Mike Sherman as the head coach. 2 weeks later, before the Bucs announced a coach, Schefter reports Sherman has interviewed for the Dolphins as OC. LOL. Then Chip Kelly spurns Tampa, Sherman "Emerges" as the favorite.

I think the Cheifs have done a solid job. They have some nice pieces. Sure, maybe a 2nd and 3rd round pick for Smith was a bit much, but I think they'll be very good next year and be in contention for a wild card. I like the team overall.

And I'm not just BS ng you vidae.

If Bushrod's play resembles his 2011 more than his 2012, it's not that bad of a deal.

Curious to see what Martellus Bennett got. He's better than Jared Cook and I'm sure he got significantly less. That was a great signing by Chicago.
