Belichick is one of the greatest coaches of all-time of all sports, but he’s overrated as an organizational decision-maker. His drafts have been hit-or-miss. His recent free agent classes have been underwhelming. I get his desire to preserve the cap. In general, it’s smart business and allows future freedom. But there are unique circumstances from team-to-team. The Patriots are a viable contender as long as one of the greatest quarterbacks of all-time suits up for them. With every passing year, that window shrinks. Once Brady retires, the Patriots will inevitably experience a transitional period. New England shouldn’t be building on a five-year plan. Forget the future. Their future is now. With over $25 million in cap space, Belichick just let an offensive linchpin walk for $6 million per. And he let him walk to their biggest conference rival. A rival that’s now stacked their receiving group. And will face a defensive backfield that’s far from solidified.
That’s not smart business. It’s frugal stubbornness.

I... don't think Welker's acquisition changes much for the Broncos...

I've said this many times but I will say it again. Cudders just took all of the thoughts in my head and organized in them into a rational write up.

I'd make fun of Miami, but I'm a bit jealous of some of their moves.
I wanted both Wheeler and Ellerbe in Buffalo.

Kerry Rhodes has been released. I guess Rashad Johnson will start at FS and they'll sign one of these other safeties.
Rhodes just adds to the S market. Might be like dominoes when one signs.

Eh really I think hes expendable. Were going to be alright, we got to the AFC championship with Gaffney and Reche Caldwell as our primary receivers. I just love how every off season some team makes big splashes in FA, and then the fans start chiming in about being the most talented team in football, and then they underachieve.

Was just going to post this, so late.....
Cracked me up.
Way to take the hard line stance Patriots.

Phil Emery came right out and announced that he wants to trade down. Weird.
Kaluka Maiava just signed with the Raiders for only 3 years / 6 mil. That's a good signing.
