Ugh... This Sunday has already sent me to a very dark place... I will not be happy until the Broncos are behind the Raiders again.

Super disappointing game. Both the o-line and d-line got manhandled. We really needed to win that game because it doesn't get any easier. GB, DET, KC, and SD. It's gonna be a tough pill to swallow if the Tebow led Broncos take the division. Only the Raiders... :(

Our dline was a no show, and when they aren't playing well our defense as whole doesn't. Palmer didn't have the WRs to make any type of big plays, resulting in our run offense being non-existent. I blame injuries for this loss, but also have to put some of the blame on guys like Seymour and Barnes who really hurt the team with penalties early in the game.
Doesn't get any easier this week with us heading into Green Bay. I'm just hoping we arent down 20 by half.

Man...best case scenario is 3-1...but 2-2 will probably be what we come out with. Det Oak will be infested with penalties.

DMC better play this week. This could be a deciding game for us if Denver is able to keep winning. If DMC can't go, he might as well go on IR

I'm starting to think a 3-4 scheme is the only way this defense will improve. We already have a lot of talented players on defense but our play calling is just so vanilla and doesn't put our players in the right places. Hopefully Hue can find a legit DC that knows how to dial up a zone blitz because I'm tired of not getting any pressure on the QB and turnovers.
DE Seymour/Kelly
NT F/A / Henderson
DE Houston/ Bryant
OLB Wimbley
ILB McClain
ILB Curry
OLB Shaughessy/ F/A
Solid pieces are already on this team, we just need to add a veteran NT and OLB and we should have success early IMO.

Losing the division sucks. Losing it to the Tim Tebow led Denver Broncos is a swift kick to the groin.
Going into Green Bay and getting the upset would be amazing. I won't hold my breath, though.

Only way I see us beating Green Bay is if Bush and the oline have a monster day. I'm thinking 150+ and 2 tds. DMC, Ford, Moore and Jones are out as usual....

How the eff are the Raiders supposed to win games when every single play maker on offense is injured. Seriously. They have NO impact players right now. Not to mention the MASH unit on defense across the board but especially the dline. Shaughnessy out for the year hurts BAD. Seymour is obviously not himself. And Jarvis Moss has been unable to contribute for weeks.

I'm going to be pushing for it all off season, but moving to a 3-4 is the way to go with this defense IMO, all we really need to add is a NT and a pass rusher.

NTs don't grow on trees though and I prefer the 4-3 anyways.

I actually prefer the 3-4 defense, but we'd have too many DE's for that system right now. One of Seymour/Kelly/Houston would be the odd man out and be wasted on the bench.

Our problem on defense isn't the personel. It's Bresnahan. The defense plays regulary without heart, discipline, and smarts. It has been like that since the season started, remember the second half against Denver? This is why Bresnahan wasn't even in the NFL last year, and why he allowed an average RB behind an average Oline to run for over a 100 yards in the first half of the SB.

Looks like its win out or bust from here on. Luckily Denver plays the Patriots this week so if we can take care of business against the Lions we will be tied at 8-6.

I don't know if we can pull it out anymore. We have nobody, all our good players are hurt and Seymour is playing stupidly.

Yep...
Yah I would have to say it is looking pretty dismal right now. If our offense cannot score until the other team has 30 pts it will be a long day on Sunday. Lots of booing....too many injuries on a team that was a borderline playoff team to begin with.

If only we could say the same about Ford and DMC. Heck, just Ford and Jones would be nice to have back with Moore.
I still think this is a team that can make a deep run in the playoffs if we can get our star RB healthy in time for playoffs. This team is meant to be wide open on offense and they can't do that with Murphy and Schilens at WR and only Bush at RB.
I wonder how Reece would do if you gave him some pitches....

I'm going to my 2nd game this season, hopefully my 2nd straight win as well. Moore needs to have another good game, as well the run game that needs to really make a difference this game. I think we can cause 2 Ints in this game that can really effect how the game plays out.

That was an absolutely heartbreaking loss. Just crushing. Our playoff hopes are looking dim, but at least the Broncos lost as well. Unfortunately, I think our remaining two opponents are tougher than Denvers. We still have KC and SD, while they have Buffalo (who's been playing like crap lately) and KC.

We can win if we win out and Denver loses to KC. It all hinges on KC.
With that said, our playoff hopes died with the PI call on Routt. And all of us have to deal with the backlash of "Tim Tebow, playoff QB, Pro Bowler".
