As a Raider fan it is nice to see so many of you recognizing Morrison and Asomugha, they are freaking awesome.

I like Hillenmeir alot for the Bears (however you spell it). I think he's a good SAM who gets lost in the Bears conversations.
Tillman is also underrated on that defense.
I think Derrick Burgess is very underrated. He still doesn't get mentioned in DE threads, even though he's been going strong 2 years straight.
Hollis Thomas is a great run stopper. Vonnie Holliday is a great pass rushing UT. I like Channing Crowder alot too. Chris Hope is underrated. Marcus Washington is too, he's my favorite 4-3 SAM in the league.
Mike Vrabel is the definition of underrated. He's the prototype 3-4 SAM, and he gets no love at all. Him and Marcus Washington (who I feel could thrive at 3-4 SAM) are probably the closest prototypes to Carl Banks in the league today.
Ty Warren and Igor Olshanksky is underrated. I personally think Donnie Edwards is too.
If my homeboy Chase Blackburn can ever see the field, he'll show everyone how good he is. He's a diamond in the rough.

Damn, I just noticed I named all defensive players. What can I say, defense is my thing.
I'll give offense a shot.
I like Mike Sellers and Mike Karney at FB.
I think JP Lossman is an underrated qb.
Eh...screw offense.

Unquestionably. As much as people on this board like to talk about Kerry Rhodes (which is understandable) I think Jones is better.
The Browns corners are TERRIBLE outside of Bodden, yet their passing D was respectable because of Jones.

Damn it. I forgot about Jones, and I don't know how, because I loved him coming out of Georgia. Same goes with Burgess, Vrabel, and Washington - all players I love.

I think for the past 2 years, he's been overrated a bit. And he's one of my favorite players

Underrated Bucs:
Dan Buenning, LG - Was a solid lineman before his injury
Chris Hovan, NT - Important run-stuffer, and gets little credit, even from some Bucs fans
Ronde Barber, CB - Most people recognize his greatness but there are still the TNewFans out there who are ******** and think he sucks

Alex Smith. His offense averaged 24 points per game this season its not his fault that his defense cant help him out
Steven Jackson. Was 5th in the league in rushing and 1st amoung Runningbacks in reciving and still doesnt get mentioned with elite running backs as much as he should.
Justin Griffith. Theres a reason that atlanta has lead the leauge in rushing 3 seasons in a row. Sure Michael Vicks rushing helped but someone is blocking for the running backs well
Lee Evans. If he didnt play for an underachiving team he would've made the probowl
Terrell Owens. Leading the league in TD catches has got to count for something
Kellen Winslow. He lead all Tight ends in catches, rarely gets mentioned when talking about elite Tight ends
Chad Clifton. Helped Brett Favre get sacked only 21 times despite him starting every game
Jason Brown. Protected Steve McNair's back side and helped allow him get sacked only 14 times through out the whole season
Nick Mangold. Probly one of the top centers in the afc last year
Jake Scott. Protected Peyton Manning's front side and helped allow him get sacked only 14 times
Maurice Williams. Helped block for the 3rd ranked rushing attack
Derrick Burgess. Lead his (underated) 3rd ranked defense in sacks
Tommy Kelly. Lead all DT's in solo tackles.
Vonnie Holliday. 3rd in the leauge in Combined tackles amoung DT's
Justin Smith. 3rd in the league for all defensive linemen in total tackles
Ernie Sims. 4th in tackles amoung OLBers. A tackling machine, especially for a rookie
DeMeco Ryans. Lead the league in solo tackles, no pro bowl and hes a rookie?
Sean Phillips. Tied for 2nd in sacks among linebackers and would have been a probowler had he been in the nfc
Anthony Henry. Tied for 2nd in batted passes while racking up 81 tackles. would've been a probowler had he had more interceptions
Nnamdi Asomugha. A big part of the 1st ranked pass defense
Chris Hope. Lead all DBs in tackles and didnt make the probowl.
Kerry Rhodes. Tied for 1st in DB sacks.
Steven Gostkowski
Ryan Plackemeier

Center Jeff Saturday is most definitely underrated. He made the pro-bowl this past season, but definitely should have been the past few years.
