Well, this is going to be a long Saturday.
I don't think we've gotten a first down yet today...

Maryland has run four offensive plays that aren't bubble screens so far. God damn.

I find the Maryland spread offense to be horribly fitted for the personnel despite their success vs Miami. Danny Obrien isn't one of these quick release spread QB's. He's got a nice deep ball and can go through his progressions. The offense they run basically takes his decision making out of it since everything is predetermined screens. You have a powerful running back and a great play action QB why follow the spread fad. Just a bad fit IMO for the offense, same can be said for the defense when you have a safety like Kenny Tate who's built like a WR and you force him to try to shed blocks from O-lineman.

Yeah, Edsall has made some curious decisions so far that don't seem to be working out yet. Tate looks like garbage wading through traffic and O'Brien looks to have regressed a little this year in the new system. Incorporating the screen game is one thing, refusing to do anything else is another thing entirely. West Virginia is just sitting on it right now because they've given them no need to expect anything else.

Jesus Maryland. You're supposed to at least be competitive.

With all the love Richardson and Lattimore get, Dyer has kinda been the odd man out. He's got the juicy thighs too.

Boston College scored a touchdown! I swear it's true!

Watkins and Hopkins is the best named WR duo since the Mark brothers.

O'Brien with another interception on one of those damn bubble screens. Time to move on Maryland.

It's really amazing how we don't have a QB coach. You would think that would be a good hire after the last 7 or so years of QBs...

Extremely audible "Let's ******* go" while the refs reset the playclock on ESPN, lol. Good job by Maryland applying pressure and getting to Smith too. They need to get a touchdown to stay in this though.

McGloin is worse. They let him play much of the game last week and it was BAD. He can't complete a pass beyond five yards and he's erratic within that range even.
Oh, what a concept Maryland. You throw the ball down the field and you score.
