It wasn't a big deal to me.. just something small that annoyed me, UNTIL you all jumped all over me about it. Now I'm making a big deal out of it because I can. For the hardcore fan of this show everything can so "easily" be explained away. It's not a perfect show but you zealots sit here and argue with anyone who has even the slightest criticism of the show.
You guys made this a big deal, not me.
|
ugh get with it vidae ugh could you like please like leave?!
But I enjoyed the season opener so I'm waiting to see if that guy getting his leg cut off does save him.

I didn't even really dislike this episode, I've just had a problem with that one specific thing since the show premiered. And I still think Lori is the most worthless character ever. But other than that.

They have the absolute bare minimum of medical training, little to no supplies, and they just straight amputated a dude's leg with an axe. The doctor from the group, btw. How is he supposed to survive that? You gonna burn the stump to prevent him from bleeding out? lol

I don't think he is going to survive.

It will save him in theory if they can stop the bleeding. A big 'if' though.
All in all a strong start to the season and I'm excited for the next episode already.

Another solid episode. I did not expect Rick to kill that guy. Kind of weird that we didn't see Andrea and Michonne in this episode but it looks like next week will focus mostly on them. Also, Merle in the next episode.

I really enjoyed that episode as well. I'm just waiting for people to yell about how Hershel didn't die and how it isn't believable enough.

Rick is a G. Carl is a baby G. Carol likes walker vag. Hershel is going to live, get'em some crutches. And last but not least, Murrell coming back and it looks like he captured Andrea. Just five reasons why this the best show on Television.

I'm waiting for people to complain about how that one short black guy's fade didn't grow in the ten months the prisoners were in the cafeteria.

That machete scene was awesome. They are making Rick into exactly the type of person I think would thrive in a zombie apocalypse and I love it.

Did they change the writers/directors after season two? The first two episodes have been leaps and bounds better than pretty much anything from the previous season.

I'm fairly sure it's the same people who took over when Darabont left, but I'm not sure about that.
I think it's pretty obvious they learnt about the mistakes they made last season and have been correcting them so far. It was nice that they even made mention of how horrible a mother Laurie is. Rick is getting awesome and we still haven't even seen much of Michonne or anything of the Governor, both of whom should translate fantastically from the comics to the television show. Also, Merle. Whatever that means.

Solid episode. I enjoyed it.
Does anyone actually watch The Talking Dead? Chris Hardwick might be the biggest tool I've ever seen. He's insufferable. Why does this show even exist?

I actually really enjoy The Talking Dead, espescially when they have Robert Kirkman, Greg Nicotero, or Glen Mazzarra on it. They provide nice insight into the episodes and even provide a few teasers for future episodes. Last night, they had the actor who playes Tomas (the guy who got the machette to the head) on the show and he gave a cool insight into how he got a role on the show, the script, and different aspects of the filming. If you are truly a fan of the show, I'd suggest you watch it. If you only watch TWD for the lolz, I guess there is no reason to watch TTD.

I don't only watch TWD for the luls. And I have seen quite a few different episodes of TTD and I find it to be boring and completely worthless.
To each his own.

I kind of wish they would do a show like that for Breaking Bad. Seeing how there are only 8 episodes left, it's probably too late, but I'd definitely watch it to get a bit more insight into the show.
