I'll keep at it. I'm determined to get good at it since all my friends are FPS fans.
I usually stick to 3rd person actions (GoW, UnCharted, Batman, etc) and sports games.

I will dominate another genre! One slow, painful, embarrassing death at a time.
(My wife was watching me play earlier and was laughing her ass off at amount of times and the ways I was dying)

I need to try Kill Confirm. It sounds good.

Kill Confirmed will allow you to be useful to your team without doing a lot of killing. Use Marathon and an SMG/Shotgun and try to collect as many dogtags as you possibly can. The actual shooting will come easier with time.

I wouldn't get too frustrated. Its very easy to die in this game and quickly at that.

Edit - Also play Mercenary if you aren't in a party. That way you won't run in to a group dominating by working together.

Spec Ops on Veteran has been getting me so damn pissed lately.. Its a lot easier if you do it with a friend though which I have been. Im down to the last 3 missions to do on veteran and its so damn tough. My advice for most is take it slow and maybe play it on harden first to get the feel of what your suppose to do. But what one are you stuck at?

If you play a bunch of core, you just melt through people in HC mode. I actually do Kill Confirmed on HC alot, hate the uav not being there, not seeing the score, and alot of times I don't know whether or not I killed a guy until way after. I also wish I knew about the prestige shop. I had 3 tokens to use, so I can get 2 hours of double xp three times, double gun xp, and a few other things. That was pretty cool.

Gold camo on this game looks awesome. Just unlocked it for my M4.

Ak47 is the best gun by far IMO. Put a silencer and kick on and it's clutch. I'm level 72 and I'm ranked around 3000 for demolition on PS3.

Yea, well, I'm a Level 5 with a level 2 M4 and I got 7 total kills last time I played.
What I'm trying to say is, I'm kind of a big deal and I would dominate you, lol

Yeah that's all I did was play with a friend, but it was just ridiculous. I couldn't take more then three steps without being put down. It basically was him just staying back and reviving me every ten seconds so we could keep moving forward.

I tend to use the FMJ perk over all of them, but for the AK kick is pretty good because of the initial kick it has when you start to burst. I actually haven't decided if I will prestige because I don't want to give up the AK.

The only shotgun that worth using so far for me is the Striker. Huge clip, good range and the semi-auto is considerably better than pump action or full auto.

UMP w/rapid fire is pretty damn beastly. The recoil pattern goes straight up (as opposed to a small circle), so you get lots of headshots with it, even with hipfire.

Haha I told you guys. But I am favoring the ACR right now. I think it's the best overall gun in the game, but the type95 combo I posted is pretty beastly if you want a three round burst.

That's why you should have saved your prestige tokens.. You could have kept the AK through all your prestiges.
