no, but if they wore all blues then they might not have had to have tried a last second field goal. the blue camo on that field slows down the opposing player's visual perception. it's science, deal with it :)D

Both TCU and Boise got into the BCS 2 years ago. Still it's a good point you've got there, sir.

I wonder what it takes for Houston to go to the natty. All would have to lose, some once and some twice, I think.

It may look like camouflage on the TV, but not at field level. Unless you're playing inside a giant blue dome.

That's essentially impossible I think. Pretty much everyone from 2-10 would have to lose out. I'm not even sure that's actually possible, since some like Oklahoma State and Oklahoma still have to play eachother.

Although, since Texas Tech is so bad, Oklahoma should be majorly penalized. Hell, the TCU team from tonight would probably drop 50 on Texas Tech.

I would think all the skin, white numbers, and helmet logo would kill quite a bit of the camo effect or idk...hit w.e. blue turd is moving??

i think the other options were a 3 loss Virginia Tech team or a 3 loss LSU team which wasn't gonna fly over undefeated mid-majors.

I think Houston's best case scenario is a BCS bowl. NC is out of the question having only beaten a bunch of nobodies. I think UCLA is their big win?

If the all blue uni really does have a camouflage effect wouldn't it be a disadvantage for Boise? How would the QB be able to see his targets?

Collin Klein has to be one of the most under the radar great players in the nation this year.

It's different when you are looking for it I think. Opposing QBs who are looking for white might not be able to differentiate between the uniforms and the blue field in their peripheral I wouldn't think. Plus the Boise players get to play with it every week and get used to it. Visiting teams would only see it once a year.

Plus, Houston would (will?) get Hawaii'd versus any legitimate BCS program. Boise and TCU have had success against bigger programs because they're always so good in the trenches, having the strength and speed to match up.

Houston's offensive and defensive lines would crumple up like newspaper against as SEC or Big 10 front.

I also think Colt Brennan was an overall better QB than Keenum. Did not make a difference at all when his o-line was getting him Cutler'd.

I think they'd get in if Oregon, Stanford, okst alabama, and Clemson all lost one more. Possibly others. Good luck with that.

But as to Boise, im pretty sure te BCS is not obligated to take non-BCS schools if they have a loss or outside the top 12. And I think they only have to take one, so they can easily pass over Boise for a bigger draw if they want, and I assume they would.

I think dissent is growing little by little every year. It probably won't happen soon, but eventually teams will get fed up with it.

Additionally, I don't see how the NCAA won't make MORE money with playoffs. You can still have all of the minor bowl games and you'd get to grow from 1 championship game to 7 games with an 8 team playoff system.

And the argument that it would strain the students goes out the window when you consider every other level of college football and all other college sports have playoff systems.

AND the argument that it would make the regular season mean less goes out the window with the fact that Alabama or Oregon could earn rematches with LSU. Which is another level of bull **** altogether.

Tebow was a much better thrower than Klein in college and had like 54 total TDs in one season so I will have to respectfully disagree.

Klein does seem to be improving as a passer though and has become a very good player in his own right.
