Week 10 - Lions (+3) at Bears
Make a prediction and discuss the game. Bears are one behind the Lions in the standings. This is a big game.

Big game, this isn't the same Bears team we faced earlier in the season, and it's in their place.
bears 34-27.

I don't think this game is so big, as both teams look good for the playoffs.
If Best is out, the Bears win. 23-17. The team is playing much better the last few weeks.

Jay Cutler will be running for his life all game long. Calvin Johnson will blow the top off the Bears' Cover-2.

We're coming off of a bye week and have been gameplanning like crazy. We've been scouring the Earth for random scrubs to ride our bench and planning for every scenario. We had better be prepared to win this game.

I see a low scoring affair with the Bears winning out at home by 2 points something like 17-15.
If the Lions win this game, they are a cinch to make the playoffs, if they lose it will be a struggle.

If forte touches the ball 30+ times bears win, if not the lions are gonna blow them out.

Big game but not a death blow for a loss for either team. 7 games to go after. Supposed to be windy which could affect the passing game for each team. Hester is questionable.
Lions 22-19 final minute play and Calvin holds onto it this time.

Even though this is a divisional rivalry I think that the Bears are out to win more than usual. They want to make a statement after embarrassing themselves in Detroit a few weeks back. I think the Bears win 21-17.

Robert Malone has ensured he will never punt again.
Egregious.

Although my score was off my prediction wasn't unfortunately. Bears totally whooped us and we just looked terrible. Hopefully the Lions can bounce back against the Panthers.

Knew the Bears would win, just didn't think they'd win so easily.

They won't make more than a speck of noise in the playoffs this year, if they manage to get in as a wild-card at all.

I don't entirely disagree, but that's like getting knocked out in a fight and then arguing that your opponent had bad form with his punches. The bottom line is that the Bears won by 24, and you predicted them to lose by 28. So, if the Bears are incomplete, the Lions may just be bad.

My prediction was wrong. But my assessment of the Bears as a team, and my prediction of future performance, remains the same. They will not win a playoff game even if they manage to sneak into the playoffs as a wild-card. Their defense is good, but not dominant, and their offense is terrible.
