Who are these mythical out of conferences that you speak of? OSU who just lost to ISU or maybe the Sooners who let a powerful TT team put up 30 plus on them. Let's not forget that stout Boise State defense that looks about NFL level. That leaves Oregon then with about 6 first rounders on defense.

That's a game I'd love to see but there's no questioning how stifling both LSU and Alabama's defenses are.

Alabama moved the ball pretty well on a top rated Penn St defense. What I wanted to see early in the season was either Bama or LSU in the title game versus Wisconsin. I absolutely hate that its a cluster **** right now because the last thing I want to see is a rematch in the national championship game

And yes, I will complain if Oregon gets in as well. LSU was beating them by 20 points with :13 seconds left before the Ducks scored a garbage time TD. That game was never in question.
