People really underestimated how physical Michigan State is. They aren't terribly talented, but they beat the **** out of people. That game against Michigan was the most physical game I've seen this year.

They said the same thing about Utah when they played Alabama a few years ago or when Boise played Oklahoma in 2007.

LSU has an obvious weakness at QB, the most important position on the team. If you give a coaching staff a month they will find ways to exploit that weakenss.

Say what you will about Weeden but he is better than all the QBs in the SEC (except Wilson). Blackmon is a very good elite college WR. It would make for a hell of a more exciting lead up to the game and a more intriguing matchup than Alabama. Still not sure how Alabama ends up at number 2 still when they lost that game at home...that has to count for something.

On the bright side perhaps a rematch would be another feather in the cap of blowing up the BCS and replacing it with a playoff system.
