Georgia releases as many players as they sign. After this signing class, they will have about 80 scholarships. After all the summer arrests and all that crap, they will have like 70 and then seniors that graduate and players that transfer/leave early for NFL, they will have 30+ to sign in next years class.

For some reason UT can't even get one runningback.

Wonder if Ezekiel Elliott will switch from Ohio State to Missouri. No idea why he would, I give it a 30% chance of happening. I know his dad wants him at Mizzou.

Highly ironic that Jason Hatcher ended up at Kentucky.

So the story with Collins from what I've seen, he committed to Cane coaches at the end of last week, told his family he was going to commit to UM on Monday night on tv, goes up to Atlanta by himself, and changes his choice to Arkansas at the last second (where his coach has been pushing him since Bielema went there). Gets back in town, his family is pissed and his mom wants him at Miami still.

He was thought to be a heavy UT lean back in the summer until USC came on late and he originally chose them. After he committed to USC, he said this about UT:
Quote:
"The only downside at Tennessee is they lost to U of K," Donna Hatcher said. "They're at the bottom of the barrel."
Jason Hatcher was so displeased that he brought up his concerns with Tennessee's coaches.
"I told them 'You lost to the University of Kentucky. You lose to UK, you lose to everybody because UK finishes last in the SEC every year.'" he said.
|
And now he's a wildcat. Can't wait to see him take 8 SEC losses a year.

I won't give Richt a hard time because Georgia is on the record for being against oversigning, but the new SEC rule is such a joke. This year, the average SEC school signed 25.14 kids. In the year before the rule was put in place? 25.34
Progress!

Jim Mora's oversigning puts SEC schools to shame.

Sounds like Collins will sign with Arkansas tomorrow. Was fun while it lasted.

Missed on Vanderdoes (although rather he went to ND than SC or Bama), but still a great haul for UCLA.
