Terrell Owens signs with Allen Wranglers of Indoor Football League
Quote:
Terrell Owens will play for the Allen Wranglers of the Indoor Football League, according to the Business Insider.
“Allen, Texas, I’ll see you in the end zone.” Tweeted Owens
The former Pro Bowler’s contract with the Allen Wranglers is estimated to be between $250,000 to $500,000. Owens signed with the IFL team after spending an entire season attempting to attract the interest of an NFL squad. Last October, Owens hosted his own workout in Calabasas, California to which no NFL teams attended.
The 37-year-old had 72 receptions for 983 yards and nine touchdowns last season with the Cincinnati Bengals. His season with the Allen Wranglers is scheduled to begin in February.

Owens could have had a much better career than he already has had if he had just handled things better in the NFL off the field. And it really wasn't that hard. You think he would have learned this from Jerry.

He is gonna tear that league up. Even with his age, he is a physical specimen that you don't even come close to seeing in the IFL.

I don't get why the niners didn't at least try him out, they are very limited at receiver now.

As a fan, I never want Owens back.

Frankel cited Owens' refusal to play in two upcoming road games that are critical to the Wranglers' playoff hopes and Owens' no-show for a scheduled appearance at a local children's hospital as the breaking points in the team's relationship with the receiver.

Not anymore. The real owner terminated his contract because TO violated its terms. No more cash and no more ownership for TO.

WTF? I never heard of someone refusing to play games and still expecting to get paid. Albert Haynesworth at least showed up, he didn't try on the field but he did haul his ass to the game.
