Also, makes sense from Freeney's perspective. Veterans will restructure to help their team out if it means making a run at a SB, but Freeney is running out of seasons and the Colts are rebuilding. And like someone else said he probably has no interest in switching to OLB after 11 years of beasting at DE.

would be pretty freaking good.

If Freeney goes to the ******* Pats I will start shooting.

So now that the owners approved the rule changes, what is the point of challenges now?
Also more reply time = more $$$$$(commercials)
Overtime rules isn't that bad actually.

Also to add no point in refs blowing the whistle now, let them play.

Ha, the ref on the field still does the reviews.
The NFL couldn't let that valuable commercial time go away.

I hate it when they go to commercial during reviews. Hey NFL, ever think fans might actually want to watch the replays too so we can see if the right call was made. No? Yeah, your right. I'd rather watch the Coors Light commercial I've already seen 14 times this game.

The worst is when it's right after an extremely questionable play and they don't even show a single replay.
<questionable play happens>
Announcer: Well, I'm sure they'll take a look at this one.
<COMMERCIAL>
<return to broadcast and then show some replays>
I ******* HATE that.

Remind me what the point of challenges are now? It seems like theyve been dumbed down to just the spot of the ball on a play not unvolving a score or turnover.

It must be nice when your team is not subjected to unbias replays during the playoffs on reviews.

Marshawn Lynch is apparently starring in a Cowboy movie with Gary Busey. That is just strange.

Why do I watch ESPN Firts Take? Skip just said if he was Cleveland, he would take Brandon Weeden at four. He's said some dumb **** but that takes the cake.

He is ESPN's troll. They basically just employ him to say insane things like that to get people talking.

Jason Peters ruptured his achilles. I haven't heard a timetable yet but probably will miss all of 2012.

I bet they throw money at Bell or McNeil now.
Achilles injuries are brutal. A lot of guys never truly recover from them either.

Yeah that might really be it for him. They re-signed King Dunlap today so everyone figured something was up. Sucks for the Eagles, that's a huge blow.

I'm sure that King Dunlap will be a fantastic LT. If you look at it from a divisional rival's point of view.

Do you think there is any chance they try to trade up for Kalil now?

I doubt they'd do something quite that extreme. Though if one of the other top tackles is available at their pick, they'd have to consider it.

Damn you don't want to mess with achilles injuries. Hopefully he'll be ready to go for the 2013 season and that may even be questionable.

My dad torn his and that brought an end to his minor league career.

Can't believe the 49ers are getting a new stadium, finally. Going to miss Candlestick. Too bad it couldn't just be updated. But this will make it easier for people to actually get to the stadium. Much easier.
Quote:
The 49ers have confirmed a CSNBayArea.com source report that ground-breaking on the new San Francisco 49ers stadium is scheduled for April 19.
With the incentives for opening the stadium for the 2014 season, my bet is that the 49ers will play 2012 and 2013 in Candlestick Park before calling Santa Clara the team's permanent home. And, yes, the 49ers will remain as the San Francisco 49ers.
According to the San Jose Mercury News, the event will be open to the public, and details will be released soon by the team.
