Apparently after we drafted DeCastro we decided were only taking players who accepted illegal benefits.

I'm looking for Boom Herron in the 4th rd tomorrow.

He supposedly won't get paid for 18 months, and will only get paid if he keeps in check.

Also, he already has one strike. Three and he's off the team.

Seems like a good initial arrangement to not only keep him straight, but motivate him to work his ass off.
I heard the incentive rumor too but his agent is now denying that ever happened.

yeah the more i watch spence ... the more i just don't understand the pick ...i don't see the coverage skills , i don't really see the athleticism, i don't see the ability to get off blocks real well ... just don't see it

Typical Steelers need to go LB in the 3rd ... i hope he pans out though

but then worst then that they let Brandon Thompson go and then Cinci picks him up...great ....

but the only player i care about anymore in rounds 4-7 is Marcus Dowtin LB from North Alabama

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PSOglp3kyOo

now that's a Line Backer

and Also Harrison replacement Ryan Davis

Yeah, there are still quite a lot of prospects that I like going into the third day. I think we go after defense 4 of our 7 picks.

I hope we target S, RB, and WR/TE with the next few picks. OLB, value at corner, and value at OL would be nice too.

I debated on whether or not to give you the satisfaction of saying this but..... **** YOU GUYS. Honestly, I personally think the Adams pick is even better than DeCastro pick when you consider value. If I were you guys I'd play Adams at left, bump Gilbert over to the right side and start DeCastro at LG (no point in moving Foster). Both give you the help you've been looking for for years. Oh and Sean Spence too. I know it's kind of a weird pick with him in the 3-4 but as a Miami fan I'll say this - people see his size and assume he's just a little quick run-and-chase, coverage LB who can play in space. Truth is, he's just alright in coverage but is very much at his best when he can be an attacking downhill LB between the tackles. Contrasting ILB's is a nice idea but you guys never really had that with Farrior and Timmons either. At worst he'll be a nice depth piece and a stud ST player.

I think going by this, the biggest need right now is DT followed by depth at S, OLB, WR, HB. I think those will all be addressed today. Hopefully Ta'amu slides to us in the 4th. That would be a big steal that late.

Yeah, after a nights sleep, I'm starting to like the Spence pick. No he isn't an ideal fit to our defense, but he's such a tough, hard-nosed kid who is a leader. He's a shorter Timmons IMO. Once Spence fully fills out, I believe we have a nice piece on defense. I already went over there and praised the Ravens for their draft. The AFCN seems to be winning the draft again.

Yeah they will take a WR maybe 2 with one of them Comp picks ... i see them taking Greg Childs in the 5th ... or if no Dline Drop and Juron Criner is left take him in the 4th

also 2 NT you forgot that they watched work out is ... Ismaa'iily Kitchen and Myles Wade... i think their targeting one of them in the 7 , because next year draft is a good NT draft

Would not surprise me one bit if we get very good value at CB or WR in round 4.

I really want to get a nose tackle in the 4th. There's some huge bodies left and we need to get someone behind Hampton.

I still think we get one later and the coaches don't see it a big need since we are in nickle a lot.

looks like spence will be primarily a nickle linebacker...

and depot thinks he will be a SS...

either way the way this league is transforming into a pass happy, 3 wr on 1st down, defense in the nickle 75% of the time type of league... spence kind of fits well for that

I wouldn't mind Blake. I just want Legs out of Pittsburgh.

I completely forgot about Micheal Brewster. Now there's an OSU prospect I like a lot. I think he's gonna start for some team at center, not us obviously. Almost wish we had a need for another interior lineman but with s typically dressing 7 lineman we already have Gilbert, Foster, Pouncey, DeCastro, Colon, Adams, and Legusrsky that make up a pretty solid game day group, tho no thrilled with Foster as a starter.
