Good opportunity for him to show off all his athletic ability, even though it has nothing to do with playing QB. I'm thinking he get in around a 4.6.

Did Michael Lombardi really just say Ingram should be a 3-4 ILB....?
No wonder he isn't working in a front office anymore..

Watch the games. In 2010 they could throw deep to Jeffery and he'd be open and would jump up and catch the ball on throws that weren't great, just up for grabs jump balls. In 2011 they would try the exact same thing with the same QB and supporting cast and the DBs would be there to make plays on the ball. Maybe they adjusted and saw on tape that if you play soft off-man coverage then you can prevent the up-for-grabs jump balls from beating you. The QB play did hurt his stats, yes, but defensive adjustments and his conditioning I think played a big part as well.......and I think his terrible QB play came a LOT from Jeffery being figured out. Watch the 2010 Alabama game where Jeffery torches the Tide - then watch 2011 where he never does that except for a few rare occasions.
The QB play is to blame.....but the QB play has a lot to do with Jeffery not being as good.

Mike Mayock said he expects Gilmore to be a top 10-15 pick. I know he was rising and likely a top 25 pick, and going into the 2011 season I expected Gilmore to be in that range (first or 2nd CB drafted), but I thought his junior year was a little disappointing after GREAT fr. and so. years. Nobody expected him to run 4.4 flat I guess and they are falling in love with the fact that he is 6'0"/200/4.4 with long arms and great ball skills but forgetting that he gets beat in coverage all the time.

Mayock was basically drooling over his tape the other night. He was also insanely arrogant basically saying no one else has him that high because they don't know about him yet because he is a junior. Not that Gilmore has been on the radar for 3 years now or anything and the draft is only a month away.

I've been saying that for months. Squat frame and short arms doesn't help but he's just not a top notch edge rusher. It's a waste of his talent to put him outside and have him just rush every snap. But he is very good in space, shooting gaps and is a sound tackler. In a 34 you start him inside and move him around, taking advantage of mismatches.

I Agree that Gilmore is being a tad bit overrated right now. If it was me I wouldnt take him until around picks 25-40.

I heard from someone else that he could fall,...no position...short arms
I like him, he reminds me of Adalius Thomas but with instincts...he could make a good 3-4 MLB

He's not an ILB though. 6'1'' 270 pounds who is a free lancer and has gone forward his entire career... that does not translate to ILB.

Looks like Trent Richardson ran a 4.58 at his pro day.

Alabama RB Trent Richardson ran unofficial forty times of 4.58 and 4.58 at the Crimson Tide's Pro Day Thursday.
ESPN3 clarified that Richardson was at only at "70 percent" after February surgery on his left knee. For a player who goes 228 pounds, any time in the 4.5s is fast at less than full strength. Richardson most definitely plays in the 4.4s, and the time shouldn't hurt him assuming the knee checks out medically. It did at the Combine. Richardson projects as a top-ten pick.
not bad for 70% but I want to see Upshaw's numbers

From GBND
Early numbers from Tide workout ... The early, unofficial numbers from the Alabama workout today include 40 times in the low 4.5 range for RB Trent Richardson, 4.55 for Mark Barron and something in the low 4.8 range for OLB Courtney Upshaw. Given the rule of thumb that hand-timed, pro day numbers can be as much as a tenth lower than comparable numbers from the combine, none of these times can be considered more than average. In fact, Upshaw's time is somewhat slow for an edge rusher.

Could see Trent in Tampa, as Greg loves his workhorse back. Trent does have questions about his long speed, but he is so good weaving in and out of traffic, he might not have the constant agility but his cut backs and vision are sick. I wonder how silly good he would be in a zbs.

Sadly, even their scouts get dominated at the point of attack.

Did Tannehill run a 4.62? That's what I'm seeing.

I think Richardson is locked in at either #4 or #5 overall. Tannehill I see going to Miami - I just can't imagine the Browns taking him unless they trade down.
