I didn't require anything. The only person who had a complaint that this was going slow was D and that's par for the course with him.

No one wants this draft to go on for 2+ weeks. It doesn't need to be stated.

People lose interest if there's 2-3 days between their picks (which absolutely would have happened without texting). You wouldn't know since you're never the commissioner of these leagues you're member of here, but it's a royal pain in the ass to constantly have to check in, update the draft pick list, and to keep this moving.

You think you're the only one with a life? I want to get this out of the way quickly so I can resume mine in a full capacity. Don't sign up for this next year if that's really how you feel.

Well I completely whiffed on the Oakland closer situation by drafting both Devine and Fuentes. Easy enough to drop. However I may have lucked out with Bard. Sounds like he's heading back to the bullpen and I would assume to close.

I doubt Bard closes unless Bailey falters, but I also doubt Balfour gets all of Oakland's saves.

Yeah I'm with XIO on this. Bailey will still have first shot to be close. Seems like Valentine doesn't like Bard's work ethic all that much.

Do you have excess hitters (power hitters, who hopefully play first base but outfield will do)?

Then you should offer me a trade because I am absolutely willing to deal one of those three plus possibly another piece for an elite bat.

Yeah it was definitely up for vote. What's wrong with it?

I would guess that if you disagree with it you think that xio is getting the better end of the deal, as Bell is rated a little higher than Scherzer on most sites. But Bell wasn't going to do me any good anyway because he was my only closer and that wouldn't normally get me enough saves anyway. I also think most people have Scherzer a little undervalued.

Maybe. I guess if you only have one closer you will finish last in saves anyway so you might as well have none, but Bell is more valuable in my opinion the Scherzer.

Scherzer is a strikeout machine and will be playing on a good team. He's probably a pretty good bet (barring injury) to repeat or, with some luck, improve upon his 2011 numbers. It's not that lopsided, not enough to veto at least.

In other news, I'm absolutely killing you guys. 108 points!!!!!! You guys may as well just pack it in for the year.
