Default Next mafia games registations starting, like, now.
As most of you already know, I will be modding the next mafia game. Actually, I came to decide that it will be two games, both played simultaneously. Why two games? First reason is I did not want to be modding a 30-40 player game. Takes way too much time and can get way too complicated, especially if there are many roles. However, I did not want to make a 20 player game and tell those who didn’t get in to go **** themselves, so I chose to compromise and mod another game for everyone who wants to get in, although that one will be simplified, featuring way fewer special/power roles.

First game will be a 19-player Firefly flavoured game and already has a bunch of players on board.

5 places are left. You may apply if you so wish. Game should start Saturday at the latest if I have enough participants, which I’m sure I will. Do NOT register for the game if you are not to be participating much.


Second game will be a simplified mafia game with fewer power roles, as was said before. Reason is it is easier to mod, and, with modding two games simultaneously, I’ll take easy for one of those. Another reason is that the simpler the game is, the less likely it is that the players will be given information by a power role, and therefore you’ll have to rely on proper deduction skills. Number of participants for this one is unlimited. Game will start when I damn well feel like it. Again, please don’t register if you plan not to be participating much, or if being a vanilla townie bothers you : chances are you will be.

Any registration, unless one specifies that he would rather not play in the Firefly version, will be considered for both games. It will not necessarily be first come, first served for the themed version.


Note : If for some reason the confirmed participants in the themed game would prefer to play in the other game, just say it and that should be arranged.

Another note : Don't bother specifying you'd rather be in the firefly-themed game : there's 5 places left and everyone will say the same. Just specify if it's the other way around.

I would like to get in on this, ideally the firefly one because I feel like everyone will be more active. I haven't played before, but I am around more than most and will be active consistently throughout the game..

You guys have no idea how fortunate I thought I was when Brody investigated me and he was vouging for me I was good, and then when you did (and Brody turned out to be trustworthy) too, I thought I had most of my work done, but the damn mafia didn't see me as enough of a threat before ncst8 ruined the goddamn game, so I couldn't win!

I personally think the mafia would have ended up winning, especially if they would have wised up and recruited me, since everybody and their mother thought I was good.
