Yeah, McShay hasn't "reported" anything regarding picks 3-5, he simply changed his mock to reflect the most recent, probably false rumors. He even said it might change again before the draft but for now he's taking the bait. Guy definitely gets paid to thicken smokescreens for teams because someone in his position shouldn't be so naive.

The only thing these 'reports' and quotes do this late is lead you further from the truth. Everyone had a better idea of what is about to transpire two weeks ago.

Jets flew out to California to work out Silatolu yesterday per Tony Pauline.

The Tampa Bay Times believes the Bucs would seriously consider Boston College LB Luke Kuechly at No. 5 overall if LSU CB Morris Claiborne and Alabama RB Trent Richardson are off the board.
|
It would be a good pick if the two players are off the board.

Its nothing against McShay. Its just that the information is wrong. I'm convinced the pick is Kalil. So if Schefter said it would be Claiborne he would be wrong too. Its all a smokescreen. Its obvious.

Think he's supposed to be the 49ers guy if he's there at #30 too. Lots of late buzz for him, it'll be interesting to see where he lands.

Tony Pauline:
"- I’ve been told by several people the Baltimore Ravens will jump at the chance to draft Shea McLellin if he’s available for them in round one. Otherwise they could draft Peter Konz."

yeah, the draft picks they have in the end after trading down to 6 and trading up to 3 will make them look stupid considering they could've just traded down to 4 and got at least as good of a deal as what Washington got them. Illogical.

The Rams can trade up in this draft using picks from this year, while still keeping those extra firsts over the next two years.
They have the ammo to get anyone they want in the next three drafts.

That being said, I think they can stay right where they are for the first 2 rounds of this year, and still get players they love. Even if they wanted, they could try to trade down with Buffalo and get Cox there.

I can see Spielman now just begging the Rams to move up. Please let this be true.

- 'Skins - RGIII
- Rams f/Vikings - Richardson
- Browns - Claiborne
- Bucs - Kalil
- Vikings - Floyd
- Jags - Blackmon
- Dolphins - Tannehill
- Panthers - Cox
- Bills - ?????????
How does that look? It's definitely different and with the reports that many teams view Blackmon and Floyd as near equal to each other, I can see the Vikings taking Floyd due to his Minnesota connection

Would be interesting, not sure I buy that the Rams are going to move up to 3. Theoretically if that happened though, I'd guess the Bucs trade down with somebody who wants Kalil or take Kuechly as rumored. Also if the Vikings are down to Kalil, Claiborne, and Blackmon if they stay at #3 I'd guess they'd take Blackmon over Floyd at #6.

Why would the Rams trade up? it makes no sense at all. They had the #2 selection, just traded it for a crapload of picks....why turn around and trade those crapload of picks to move up to where you just were?

ESPN just broke the news that the New York Jets might be moving up to #3 or #4 to get Trent Richardson.
Tannebaum has gone up 3 times in the first round to get players he wanted.

IMO, Washington vastly overpaid, and rightfully so. It was for a franchise quarterback. I don't think it will cost nearly as much as that to move up to #3. Think of it this way: they would be moving from 2 to 3, accumulating quite a bit of picks along the way, to get the guy they (potentially ) wanted all along - Richardson

Jets' beat guy Cimini has been hinting at this for awhile. I wonder what in the world they'd give up though, almost would have to trade their #1 pick next year. I love Richardson and Greene could definitely be upgraded, but the Jets are awful at so many other positions right now and would have to give up so much...

Minnesota has done a fantastic job of marketing that 3rd overall pick. Everyone wants to move up with them. I think it's safe to say Minnesota doesn't take anyone at #3.

I really hope this isn't the case, unless the Jets VASTLY overpay. I dont want Richardson in the division. What do you think it'd cost to move from 16 to 3 or 4? Also, was it the Browns the Jets moved up with to take Sanchez?

I think you called it. #1 and #3 this year, #1 next year.
