Mike Adams may be the Ravens #1 target at a position of need, hard to see them passing him up for almost anyone.

So the Bengals pass on a starting CB for a roatainal DT. Makes Sense.

The Bengals are also looking for a bigger WR then Wright.

I don't know there hasn't been any buzz on the Ravens being interested in Adams at all. Martin too for that matter. LT should be one of the highest priorities but it's weird that they haven't shown interest in any of the top prospects that could be available.

Garbage for the Lions. Jenkins is not their guy. Dre Kirkpatrick would even be better than Janoris Junkins.

I agree with you on a personal level, just a hunch that Jenkins would be the pick. Not a fan of his at all personally.

My assumption is that they know neither will be available despite where draftniks are dropping them to.

Adams should and probably will go way before our pick. Martin would be the only one I could see being available but even he probably goes before us because he is a LT.

You think?

I have Adams borderline round 1. Konz to me is significantly better than any tackles outside of Kalil/Reiff. Even Reiff makes me nervous over pick 20.

Konz

See I have Konz as a round two prospect. Talent wise he isn't even close to the Pounceys, ALex Mack etc. as far as centers that have gone in the first round.

IMO he is just getting pushed into the first round this year as the best center in this draft and thus almost expected to go in round one.

Furthermore, I don't like the fact that he has never gone an entire college season (12-14 games) without injury. I would be worried about his ability to hold up in a pro season (16-20 games).

Adams

Adams was a top of the first round pick before the combine based on performance during the season and shutting down some of the top pass rushers in the senior bowl.

He had a bad showing at the bench press but did well in the positional drills, I just don't see how people have him dropping out of round one.

IMO it is just a classic case of the combine pulling the wool over peoples eyes. You just don't come out of no where or fall off at the combine.

The combine should cause you to go back and check the tape if their are questions and watching Adams shut down Upshaw, Coples etc. is enough for me to still consider him the #3 and possibly #2 OT in this draft.

Reiff

Reiff should make people nervous in the top half of the draft. The guy is as good as he is ever going to get right now. He has been consistent throughout his career but he hasn't been consistently dominant.

A fairly solid technician, he will get his shot on the left side but I think he ultimately moves to the right side where he can be a solid starter for years to come.

My main concern with Reiff is that his arms are a bit short and often cause him to reach and bend at the waist. Adams does this too but the difference is that Adams' situation is correctable (technique related but he has the arms to not have to reach), Reiff on the other hand may continue to reach out of necessity.

Synopsis

Ultimately I would be more willing to take Adams in the top 20 as he has the potential to be a dominant LT in this league, also has the potential to bust and fall on his face.

Reiff I would look at in the bottom half of the draft as a guy who I know will be on my roster 5 years from now but may never be a probowl type player.

I wouldn't touch Konz until round two, even if it means I miss out on him.

Completely disagree on Konz. I've watched tape of him vs Pounceys and I really like him at least as much.

And I'll bite on Adams being a 1st rounder, but still if i am Baltimore It's Konz > Adams.

Jacksonville is not trading up for Blackmon. I am not even sure they will select Blackmon if he is there at the #7.

Agree with BradysKnee on P. Konz. I like him better than last years Pouncey. I'd be happy if the pats took him at 27

Zone team with one good and two average zone CBs takes a first round CB, wasting his talents and ignoring the fact that they only have one real NFL Olineman? Hate that Bears draft.

It'd be understandable if we took a CB round threeish, but no way in the first.

No way Zietler gets picked before both Martin and Adams.

I think Konz is talented. If he drops to the 2nd round it will be and early 2nd round. My main concern is still his ability to hold up in the NFL.

If ever there was a medical red flag I think it should be placed on him.

The kid just can't hold up to the grind of an entire season. He has had at least two season ending injuries and one season where he was injured twice IIRC in all three years that he played.

I know it's not a sure thing that he will continue to have injury issues, but the fact that it has happened in ALL of his seasons leads me to believe that the word "injury" will play a large part in this kids career.

Nice 9ers pick. We need a long term potential #1 target to pair with Crabs. Fleener would also work.

Thought about him but I'm not buying the hype for this weak TE class. None of them deserve a 1st round grade.

Not crazy about Randle but it is a very real possibility.
