I love FFVI but it isn't as good as IV IMO
Evermore and Mana are essentially the same game except evermore you get an awesome dog and since dogs are awesome it is the better game.
But If I were to suggest one it would be Super Mario RPG. That game was epic on so many levels.

So in conclusion

SMRPG > FFIII > Chrono Trigger > Evermore > Mana

You guys should really stop using "II" and "III" when I think you really mean 4 and 5, or 5 and 6, or whatever they actually are. The old American numbers no longer apply and it just confuses everyone.

Earthbound is solid, not great. Illusion of Gaia is just ok. The Lufia games are two of my favorites ever, but they're a little different than the normal RPG.

Mehhh, I did like Super Mario RPG a lot, but I'm kind of in a Final Fantasy kick. I'll go with FF III and then do Super Mario RPG afterwards.

Also, have you ever played 7th Saga? That is like the toughest RPG I think I've ever played. I never beat it because I got so frustrated.

It only seems to confuse you, haha. You're the only one that keeps bringing it up. And since I played the games in the US when they were called II and III, they will always be II and III to me.

I've never seen an RPG list with Super Mario RPG at #1. Maybe I will have to play it next..

I remember beating it but I don't remember much of the game overall.

I really enjoyed the creative story telling, non-random encounters, the choices given when leveling up, the reference jokes are pretty good and funny. Plus, it was the first time you really got to play as Bowser and kick butt. AWESOME.
