Love the Coples pick...only player I'm pissedd the Jets missed is Barron. Lucky TB there...Crazy to think he lazy/sucked his way to an 8 sack senior season.

Curious to see how they use him next year and then down the line. Would be my bet to notch ten sacks as a rookie in Ryan's defense. Best pass rusher in the draft.

No ******* idea. This reeks of a holmgren war room power play. I can't even begin to list the things wrong with this pick. So dumb. So many good players available in positions of need left on the board at that point.

Idiotic.

I love listening to Bengal trolls saying they are finally done being a Bengals a fan because they took Zeitler over DeCastro.

Can't say I'm doing jumping jacks over the Perry pick, but he is an upgrade over what we have at ROLB.

I said that Perry was criminally underrated heading into today but apparently that wasn't the case. Love the pick.

You guys saw how easy it was to get into the tail end of the first. My guess is that they probably thought KC would jump up and take him.

After they add a few potential weapons and a RT, I'd say they had a pretty damn good offensive makeover.

And it will all revolve around Richardson.

Don't worry. He'll get 5 or 6 sacks against the Bears this season.

That's just it.... No other team would've taken him within those fifteen picks..... They could've picked Decastro and had an All-Pro left side of the line for Richardson to run through... Or Mercilus/Perry to team with Sheard.... Just bad value at 22 overall.

The only way this pick doesn't ruin this draft for me is if Stephen Hill is still there at 37 and they take him, and then best tackle available in the 3rd.

Sounds like Coples will play 5 tech DE which I think is the better fit for him in our system.

I think Hill falls further than anyone thinks. The guys isn't a poor man's Calvin Johnson. He's a poor man's Demaryius Thomas.

No such thing as value when talking about QBs. Either you like the guy to lead your franchise or you don't. Doesn't matter where.

It seems to me you don't like him. Which is fine. But it has nothing to do with 'value.;

If you don't like him at No. 22 but would like him at No. 37 then.............

Should the Rams take Hill, Jefferey or Randal at #33 ?

My best picks of Round 1: Indianapolis and Andrew Luck. Uh...duh. And Melvin Ingram for San Diego. I love this pick. This dude is fast, he ran a fake punt for a Touchdown. YODA LIKE! I think Chargers got a steal.

Worst picks: Seattle. Bruce Irvin. Most people didn't have him in the first round. And listen Brockers maybe, could be, might be, hopefully be a great player. But we wanted Blackmon, Floyd, or FLETCHER Cox, and we traded too far back for all those guys. So Brockers was like at least 4th on our board. So its Brockers for me...

I'm also thinking we're going to see a lot of 4-3...Could also see him used like San Fran used Smith and the Ravens used Suggs as a rookie...basically just as a pass rusher at end or standing up for the hell of it.

Either way he's the best pass rusher in this draft and probably just what this D needs. Helped me get over losing out on Barron...Ok that's a lie but I'm less annoyed than I initially was.

If you don't like him at No. 22 but would like him at No. 37 then.............
Actually I don't like him for the Browns, anywhere. The value talk was relative to what was on the board; specifically who was there within the Browns' needs. Reiff, Decastro, Mercilus and Perry would have been all better picks (going only with players who were taken in round one after Weeden).

I'm sorry that, as a Browns fan, I cannot get any more excited/hopeful with Weeden as my quarterback over McCoy.

Some really good picks and some really terrible ones.

Bruce Irvin? Seriously? He was a situational 3-4 passrusher. Period. Terrible.

Ingram to the Chargers and Perry to the Packers stand out as DROTY frontrunners. Both should put up double digit sacks.

The Vikings swindling the Browns is pretty hilarious, too. "Hey guys, let's prank call the Browns and tell them someone is going to trade with us for Richardson even though there's no chance we risk losing Kalil!!!!" "HAHA, that'll be great!" Ring ring.. ..... "Umm... they just gave us a 4th and a 5th to switch places with us." "Okay Bill, enough with the jokes." "Umm. No. Seriously."
