Default Your team's slot & nickel players

I'm currently working on my own depth charts and the official depth charts don't really specify slot receivers/nickel packages/situational personel changes/etc...I can make plenty of educated guesses but figured it wouldn't hurt to get some inside info from specific team fanbases..

So who does and/or can play the slot for your team on both sides of the ball (including reserves)? Does the first WR/CB off the bench play outside with a starter moving in? Would your team be better off NOT doing what they do due to a player's limitations (maybe pressed into action there due to injury)? Maybe your team essentially starts 3 WRs/CBs already?

Not looking for a format or even a clear answer if there isn't one, just explain your team specifics as far as packages and personel goes, the more in depth you go the better...If you can go further into defensive nickel packages and personel changes that come with it (other than who plays inside/outside CB) that would be great since those looks are more and more common as a base defense.

Please be sure to note where your team needs to upgrade and players who are looking to step into bigger roles next year as this is all more or less information we can use when mocking.

Thanks in advance.

Chris Crocker and Dre Kirkpatrick are the nickel and slot corners with Leon Hall out for the year.

Sanu and Andrew Hawkins split time at slot receiver.

Chargers' nickel spot has been a rotation all year but the best results have been Marcus Gilchrist abandoning the safety position to slide down there. Normally it's been Johnny Patrick or Richard Marshall but the up and down benching of Derek Cox has made the whole thing a week-to-week affair. None of the names I've listed off are worth a damn in an average secondary anyway though.

Slot is where Keenan Allen first got playing time but Eddie Royal is the real option there. He'll be cut next season though since he's due 4.5M. Gates gets kicked out there pretty often, Woodhead also.

Ace Sanders is in the slot. He has that "quicker than fast" way about him so he usually stays there even with the losses of Blackmon and Shorts. He lines up in the backfield sometimes but trying to play him outside would limit him a lot.

Will Blackmon and Mike Harris have both spent time in the nickel position and both have graded in the top 40 for CBs according to PFF. So both get playing time but they're a little different. Blackmon can offer pass rushing ability whereas Harris is more of a strictly coverage guy, so they interchange a bit based on what the defensive calls are.

Hope that's what you're looking for.
