I would kill to see Fassbender as the Riddler. They should take him dark and extreme like they do in Arkham City. They need to have Riddler deathrooms and traps scattered around Gotham. That would make for an awesome movie, Batman meets Saw.

I'm fine with the idea that he got out and used the auto pilot, but I could also see the perspective where he actually died in the explosion, the light for Gordon & the Bag for Blake were preset to happen, and Alfred is mentally fractured and saw what he wanted to at that restaurant.
He probably just ejected but there was no indication that he was able to get out. It shows him piloting it seconds before it exploded.

He was definitely alive. Alfred didn't know much about the relationship between Bat and Cat.

It shows him piloting a bat. Doesn't mean he is not piloting a second bat that also has auto pilot. He could have ejected the bat with the bomb and got into another bat.

yeah, but Lucius Fox is also told that Wayne fixed the autopilot at the end... that part hammered it home to me - it was pretty obvious what was being alluded to
And the bat was banging into skyscrapers clumsily coming out above the water, indicating the autopilot was already on and Bruce exited somewhere in the city.

Saw it the other day and all I can say based on the last page of this thread is that you are almost certainly just creating things in your head if you don't think he survived...
With the city having hours to survive, I doubt that Bruce would have went to the trouble of getting the signal fixed and leaving directions for Blake. Gotham was in chaos, there wasn't time for all of that.
And like someone else said why would Selina Kyle have been in Alfred's "delusion"?
I can't wait for Nolan to do an interview down the line to slam the door shut on Bruce Wayne surviving. Then I wonder what all of the fans that want an Inception-like ending will say. Something more ridiculous of course. I just don't understand why people feel inclined to believe that they should over-think the ending. Are they trying to make themselves feel smarter or something?

So apparently a lot of this movie was left out on the cutting room floor. Including Bane's origin. Which is surprising. There are rumors that Warner Bros. may not have given Nolan as much leeway as he wanted. The weird thing is that The Dark Knight didn't have this issue. I've heard that maybe an hour and a half may have been left out.

If/when they end up releasing the full 4 hour uncut version I am so totally buying it. I really need to invest in a bluray too so I can really experience it.
