Saw this earlier. Terrible. Very familiar with Murdock...second former Gamecock to commit suicide in the last few years. Kenny Mckinley, one of my all-time favorite Gamecocks, being the other.

Holy ****, I remember him when played for South Carolina. I had no clue he had even made it the pros. Jesus, both him and McKinley, what the ****. RIP.

He did this in front of his high school, I think this shows the sort of pressure athletes can be under. Coming out high school he was very highly recruited, most all Gamecock fans and Spurrier himself thought he would fit perfectly into Spurrier's offense and be a big time player. It never working out like that must have affected him a good deal.
