Can someone explain tennis to me? I never understood how you win...6-3..6-2...and then now Federer is 15-15..

Ok makes sense...is it best 3 out of 5? Seems like such a drag to be playing up to 15+ lol

I believe for the Olympics it is best 2 out of 3, and then it goes to best 3 of 5 in the Gold Medal match
And yeah, their match took over 4 hours.

you need to score 4 times to get a point. those are counted as: 0, 15, 30 40, game. if both people ty at 40 you need to win by 2. Once you get a "Game", you switch the serves and the person with game gets a point. You win a set if you have 6 points. it takes quite long

isner-mahut went 11 hrs in 2010. the fifth set took 8 hrs.

The 183 games and total time, both far beyond the existing records of 112 and 6:33. The 138 games and 8:11 in the fifth set alone, also records. Isner's 112 aces in the match, and Mahut's 103, both much higher than the old mark of 78. The combined 490 winners (Isner had more, 246-244) and only 91 unforced errors (Isner had more, 52-39).

Personally if I want to watch the Olympics I use a third party website.

Dressage has to be the most ridiculous Olympic "sport" there is. Even worse, 23,000 people are in the stands watching it.

Watching a horse 'dance' is truly ridiculous, I agree.

NBColympics.com is streaming everything live, if you have a TV provider that shows NBC.
Also, I love watching Track & Field.

Looks like Canada is about to beat Britain to meet USA in the soccer semis. I'll be rooting for them in the bronze medal game.
