According to most soccer fans I've talked to Olympic men's soccer isn't really a big deal to most countries. Is it the same with women's soccer? Are all these teams sending their best players?

I think all the women's teams send their best players. Men's is basically an under-23 competition with a handful of older players sprinkled in and qualifying that I never fully understood.
