2. Percy Harvin
3. Victor Cruz

IDK if the Phins use him in the slot much anymore but Davone Bess has definitely got to be up there.

I expect antonio bornw to play a lot of slot in haleys offense with sanders out wide across from wallace....but the clear best is welker

Colston plays the slot a lot. The Saints move everyone around. What I find interesting is how the Saints basically run the same 5 passing plays over and over again, just out of different formations and with different guys lined up at different positions.
No one attacks the seams more than the Saints.

I'm having trouble putting anyone above these three, though I'm sure somebody is slipping my mind. I would probably rate Cruz a better slot WR for sake of the question and Harvin a better overall player.
edit: what about TE's that basically are slot WR's? Because Aaron Hernandez is pretty high up there on my list if that's the case.

Not to mention Jimmy Graham, who plays out of the slot an absolute ton.

If Percy could just stay healthy, he would be a beast. When he's a full go, he's a matchup nightmare.
I'm having a hard time thinking of a lot of guys. Danny Amendola? Davone Bess? Steve Smith (USC one if he's healthy)?, Doug Baldwin? Emmanuel Sanders?

i think hester and bennett could be nightmares with marshall and jeffrey working the outside.
manny sanders is gonna be a good one, but i like brown in the slot better. Manny is fragile and brown is fearless

I want to see how our former WR Steve Smith does for the rams if healthy. I will be looking forward to see how he does.

If Shipley even makes the rooster I could see him having a pretty big year from the slot.
EDIT: if he doesn't I expect a lot from Sanu and/or Hawkins in that spot as well.

I like Danny Coale for the Cowboys this year! He could be the starting slot receiver by the end of the year.

Ding. The addition of adding Jimmy Graham to the offense made it even more scary too.

I wish Cameron had his head out of his ass so Boldin can be on these lists.

Huh? What are you talking about? Boldin does play slot when we go to 3 wide. We don't run a whole lot of 3 wide because our 2nd TE happens to be better than our 3rd WR.

Yeah, he's going to work his way up this list in 2012. Hard for a rookie to get a lot of playing time considering the Packers' receiver depth (25 catches, 375 yards), but he looked electric when he got the ball. He's also reportedly had another strong start to camp.
