Preseason Week 2 Discussion Thread.
Might as well get this started. Today's matchups:
Cincinnati at Atlanta
Cleveland at Green Bay
Are you going to watch? I'm anxious to see Weeden again and that Atlanta offense.
Sunday's matchup between the Colts and Steelers should be interesting.

Well Weeden is suppose to play the whole first half so that will be interesting. I want to see more of Travis Benjamin, he was explosive in the first preseason game.

Looking forward to watching the planet's three best WRs on the same field tonight. Also interested in how these 4 team's run games are looking.

The first WR we've had that's fast by NFL standards in a while.
Also, it really blows not seeing Richardson yet.

Is Gordon playing for the Browns?

I'm hoping to see a lot more Palmer/McFadden action tomorrow against Arizona, DHB should get some looks as well going against PP most likely. The defense looked improved and the play calling was good to see, and going against a weak offensive team could be a good test to see how much more they can progress. The dline looked very strong despite not having Seymour and if they can control things up front with our improved LB corps we should be a much better team against the run.
Mike Goodson is getting his shot at the #2 RB spot with Taiwan Jones out, and I'm wanting to see if he doesn't show much that we might go after a RB in F/A (Ryan Grant please).

Won't happen. He's out with an injury.
Hoping to see improvement from Weeden, Gordon and Schwartz.

Hopefully Julio Jones puts on a show in limited action like last week. I really like watching him run routes. The guy is so smooth with his cuts. It's as if he glides through a defense at times.

You sure you're not talking about AJ? Green is the very definition of what you described. Julio is more about sinking the hips and explosiveness out of his cuts.

He's just returning from injury, but his roster spot could be on the line. He can catch, but he struggles as a blocker and can't stay healthy.

I like both guys. I've seen more of Jones though than Green so I can't say much about him.

Yay, one of the games is actually on one of the channels I get. Bengals/Falcons...not the most intriguing preseason teams to watch but I'll take it.

Geno Atkins looks like a young Tommie Harris. He was quite the steal where they got him.

At first I was like, "Holy ****, Leonard is going to break this."
And then I was like, "Aww...fumble."

Wish I was getting Green Bay-Cleveland instead of Cincy-Atlanta.

Atlanta is clearly greasing the ball.
The Brian Leonard would never do that.
