I'm quite sure that any time you place your hand to your head, remove it, and throw it, it is done on purpose. Plus, the hat should not be thrown a quarter of the way into the end zone.

In his defense, the regular refs have hit players in the eye with their flags.

However, that doesn't happen very often as I can only recall once that it happened specifically. And it seems these refs are making more costly mistakes more frequently.

I don't know if bringing the real refs back would help or not, but there are just so many penalties that are being missed - it's getting insane.

I still can't believe Julian Edelman was called for OPI when a guy dragged him to the ground.

Hat was thrown because Ogltree went out of bounds. The placement where it was thrown was bad and bad timing, but that didn't cost the Cowboys a TD. Him running out of bounds making him inelligible.

Youtube now lets you watch it frame by frame. you can see the bottom front of his helmet/facemask move to one side while the rest of his head goes the other way.
