This is the worst ******* thing I've ever seen from Bill Simmons, and that's saying something: http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/...erbacks-league

He really is pretty awful. And what he's saying isn't even making sense. The Jets owned Fitzpatrick last year? 26/39 for 264 yards, 3 TD and 0 INT while picking on Revis in our last meeting, which was also in New York. Plus some huge scrambles to renew the downs. It was Stevie dropping his passes in the redzone at the end that killed us.
But yeah, they're finally going to bust out the ultra-effective wildcat and it will get us! We're so oblivious to such a thing after using it a bunch last year and then hiring David Lee. Blech. More Jets garbage.

If Russell Wilson takes the Seahawks to the Superbowl this year, I will eat a comical sized hat and shaved my legs entirely with the most painful wax known to man. That is all.

haha yea, Lee was a HUGE part of bringing it to Miami (moreso than Sparano and anyone else on Miami's staff at the time, he was the architect of it). So yea, the wildcat is definitely gonna throw the Bills off, they'll never see it coming.

The Colts still have Robert Mathis and Dwight Freeney to send at the Bears o-line.

The NFL is making every team do some kind of moment of silence thing for Fart Modell........that's gonna go over really well in Cleveland, way to go NFL. I'm anticipating some controversy that they will regret.

Cleveland needs to get over it now. He's dead. Move on. Shut th **** up for 'a moment' and watch your team continue to suck.

Be bitter about him taking football away from your city but acting out against him during a moment of silence for his death reserves you a special place in hell. Im sure those same Brown fans have no idea how instrumental he was in revenue sharing that gives small market teams, like the Browns, a shot to win in this league.
The guy is dead. He wont hear you boo. Everyone knows youre bitter, youve shown it the last 17 years. I dont get what a public display of disrespect does aside from showing you still hold a grudge and puts you right next to Eagles fans when talking about class. Funny how theyll be sitting shoulder to shoulder Sunday.

I'm just waiting for the "that awkward moment where even Eagles fans start to think you're being classless" memes.

the team continuing to suck is part of it. if the team didn't move away they wouldn't have had to come back and start from scratch which really scarred us for a decade +. look at the ******* ravens since 1996 and the browns since 1999. **** fart modell and his dead ass. if i were at the game i would boo in full throat, he doesn't deserve a moment of silence now or ever.

The people who loved him probably don't deserve to see him posthumously booed.
There's a gap between not forgiving him and being a straight up asshat.

He was 87 years old and I'm sure his family knows that Cleveland hates him. They'll live without watching the coverage.

every terrible person has relatives. we owe him absolutely NO respect at all. if his loved ones are offended then that's their problem that they happen to be related to him. this is on the NFL for putting the fans in a no-win position.

Football is a sport here people. The man's life, or anyone else's for that matter is more important than how well your team is doing right now.

Cleveland will boo, only because they know they get a free pass this week. Most will blame traveling Eagles fans.

But there are certain people that aren't good human beings, and we shouldn't celebrate them or put them on a pedestal. Same thing if Mike Brown died. I sure as **** wouldn't praise him, because he's a ******* prick.

Eagles fans are experts on classless.
Rick might have to call them in during the moment of silence to verify.

And moving the team was years ago.
Since Cleveland hates him so much they should boycott all the good things Modell did. No TV games. No revenue sharing.
Hell the Ravens should wear their throwbacks on Monday night for him if Cleveland boos.
I get overly angry at Mike Brown and say nasty things in anger but when he eventually does die, I wont boo or anything during a moment of silence. I wont say nasty things.
He is dead. MOVE ON. He moved a football team. Not like he raped or killed anyone.
