Daryl Washington signs 6 year extension
Quote:
Inside linebacker Daryl Washington has agreed to terms with the Cardinals on a new six-year contract that runs through the end of the 2017 season.
The team announced the news on Thursday morning, three days before the Cardinals open the regular season by playing the Seahawks.
Washington had two years remaining on his contract and was due to make $490,000 this year and $575,000 in 2013.
Financial terms of the new deal were not available.

Loved him coming out, this Arizona team isn't all that bad if they could find a QB soon. I have the feeling Barkely could look pretty good throwing to Fitz....

I hate that he's in the division, but I respect the talent. Good for him.

A QB and an entire offensive line. That's not exactly easy to find.

Damn, 6 years. I guess you get locked up long term when you're a beast.

One of the faster Mikes in the league. I thought he was kind of smallish weight wise though.

He's up somewhere in the 240s now, one of the best pass rushing MLBs in the league.

I loved him coming out. I was hoping the Saints would have taken him in the first instead of Patrick Robinson

Right after the draft there were reports that if Dan Williams had been taken Daryl Washington would of been the Cardinals pick in the 1st

Um..no.. James Laurinaitis is already the best 4 -3 MLB in the division and is on his way to becoming known as one of the best in the NFL. Period.
He has had to suffer playing behind substandard D tackles, several of which are no longer in the league. Once Brockers and Langford start to produce his numbers and production are going to skyrocket.
Sidenote: For the record Patrick Willis is the best inside Lber in the NFC West, but he also plays in a 3 - 4 behind an excellent D line.

After the guaranteed money it becomes year to year anyway so long term deals are a team's best friend.

Bobby Wagner is the best 2nd rd rookie 4-3 MLB in the NFC West, that much goes without saying.

Good to see ARZ keep their players.
Once the numbers come out I think Sean Lee will get something similar.

We'll see. I think NFL teams should use Fantasy value as the basis for contracts instead. That's the most fair way to judge them!

D-Wash is already 5x the player the pile jumper is
but I think his point was that the pile jumper is better than Robert Turbin as they are the only 4-3 teams in the division
