Week 2 Discussion Thread
Thursday
Chicago @ Green Bay
Sunday
Kansas City @ Buffalo
Cleveland @ Cincinnati
Minnesota @ Indianapolis
New Orleans @ Carolina
Houston @ Jacksonville
Oakland @ Miami
Arizona @ New England
Tampa Bay @ NY Giants
Baltimore @ Philadelphia
Washington @ St. Louis
Dallas @ Seattle
NY Jets @ Pittsburgh
Tennessee @ San Diego
Detroit @ San Francisco
Monday
Denver @ Atlanta
Getting back to making MY thread. :)
Anyways, I'm very comfortable saying that the Steelers will win on Sunday. They've had the Jets' number lately and I'm sure the team will be very fired up at home. A lot of good games this week like Chicago/GB, Detroit/SF, and Denver/Atlanta.

Hmmmm....I'm not sure if I want to pick New England in my survivor league, or if it would be better to gamble on saving NE for later and going with the Giants over the Bucs (I already used Houston).

If I were you I'd use Oakland this week.

Before the season started, I did survivor picks for the entire year. I used Cincinnati this week. I'm not hugely confident but they should beat the Browns.

I overlooked Bengals/Browns. That does look like a pretty safe pick.

You're playing the Dolphins. There's no way you're not going to win this game.

Thats a good call... I took the Vikings last week so I am all about trying to get the weaker team wins early.

Maybe I'm being a homer, but I like Miami's chances at home this week.

Cincy should rape the Browns. Especially with Haden suspend.

Watched Joe Flacco's press conference and I want to like him but sometimes his comments make him come across like a thin-skinned baby.

That's a ballsy move taking the Vikings. I took the Bears.

This game is huge. 4 days rest coming off a loss at home. Our pass defense needs to learn how to stop atleast one WR. Take away Marshall and make everyone else beat you. Im not super confident heading into this game.

Packers might be 0-2. Didn't see that as a possibility at the beginning of the season.

This is going to be a great game. I am never confident against the Packers, especially in Green Bay. But If ever I think the Bears can win, this is it. Your defense looked terrible last week.

I picked the Packers because I don't see any way that team starts out 0-2, but it would not surprise me one bit if the Bears won. That pass rush is going to eat up Rodgers all day IMO.

They look so vulnerable on both sides of the ball. There were a lot of things that I saw out of Rodgers that were uncharacteristic and should be tuned up as the season goes on but our defense doesnt look any better nor do they play any better. A lot of guys in no mans land when playing zone and not picking guys up. Especially in the middle of the field, of all places. Im very worried right now.

My goal is obviously to make it as far is possible... I feel like getting the weaker teams out of the way earlier is the only way to go.
