I'm like you, I have carefully avoided it, and will keep doing so.... even though I expect some cruel b*st@rds have probvably thrown GIFs in here of it for horror.
Was this another cheap hit by an opponent who was a p*ssy and simply dove low into a knee? Like the guy on McGahee, like the guy on Adrian Peterson last year, like the hit Delmas put on Ovie last year and tried to put on Vick a year+ ago?
Real man don't dive into knees and this is the reason why.
Tackle at the waist, torso, chest, not knees.

It wasn't a cheap hit. Lattimore's not easy to get down. Maybe Spurrier should have recruited better instead of having to rely on Lattimore every game.

Herpitty derpitty, Michigan.
Michigan v. Nebraska is looking like it could become the B1G Backup Quarterback Bowl.

OK, here's a not-too-gruesome photo of the hit.
I have said for years that hits like this are cheap & dirty, and for just this reason: it's easy to injure players severely like this.... I only wish the guys who did it would injure their own necks instead of taking out the runners knees.
Look, football is a brutal rough sport. I love the game. But horse-collars were ruled illegal because of high injury risks, and so should hits like this be.... they actually are on QBs for that reason.
RBs and WRs, runners or blockers, anyone, have no defense when people dive into their knees like this. There are many other ways to tackle.... I'm no Gamecock fan, but I feel terrible for Lattimore... poor guy dammit.

Eric Gordon was the guy who went low and caused the injury. He's a CB that's maybe 5'10 and probably weights around 180 lbs. When Lattimore is coming at you, a guy like that goes low.

It's football. Guys are going to get hurt from time to time, even on clean plays. It's unfortunate and I feel bad for these guys, but that's the nature of the game.
Michigan's new offense: Run for negative yardage, incomplete pass, incomplete pass, punt.

I thought he has looked bad. OU is calling a lot of quick passes in the flats for 5-8 yards a pop. But everything 10+ yards down the field he is not leading his receivers leaving a lot of yards on the field.
ND hasn't been getting consistent pressure, but they are often only rushing 3 or 4 and dropping a lot in coverage.

A Michigan fan just said this at the mgoblog live chat: "walking to the garage for the antifreeze. Screw alcohol."
Russell Bellomy better have a real major, because he sucks at football.

Dam it was a tough lose for Florida today.I though we would have been able to play way much better than the replays showed tonight but dam it was ugly. I didn't get to watch because I was traveling into Florida ( sadly couldn't go to the game) How did we look otherwise?

Miss at takes it to the 1/2 yard line, and Lester picks off Russell. Alabama just has this way of killing you slowly.

Manti INT, great reaction.
Ball may have hit the ground though during the pick. I don't see enough to overturn though.

I do think Notre Dame starting a freshman QB will cost them eventually, but this game has proven to me that they're a legit contender.
What is Teo's draft ceiling? Could some team in the top 5 or even 3 give him consideration? Guy is just a monster.

Makes me sad that the Pack will likely have no chance at drafting him.
