so, nice 4 run first inning there.
Bill Hall really just raised his average 100 points in less than a week. crazy. now, if only he could learn to play centerfield.

Turnbow struggles a bit but the Brewers hold on to a 7-5 led heading to the bottom half of the 8th

Francisco Cordero strikes out the side to lock up a 7-5 Brewers victory. The Brewers move to 9-6 on this young season.

Cordero is the man. really, have the Brewers made a trade recently that HASN'T worked out? I know Carlos Lee was awesome, but when ya consider he was gonna leave as a free agent anyway, getting Cordero and Mench for him was awesome.

I like our chances on Friday and Saturday but Sunday could get rough. It'll be good to see Carlos back in Milwaukee

Don't worry guys. The Brewers are undefeated at Miller Park when I'm there and it just so happens that I will be there on Sunday.
Another fun little fact, each time I was at a game they scored more than 5 runs so I was able to go to George Webbs and get the 6 for $5 deal.

Turnbow didn't struggle, he let up one hit and that was the only blemish

The Brewers certainly made the end close but just too big of a deficit.

damn, for me, this is the worst loss of the year. when a good team like houston comes to town and sends a guy fresh off the farm to pitch against your ace, ya gotta get the win. Aquino is struggling. too bad, i bet if T-bow or CoCo were available to pitch, they coulda found a way to win.

Capellan may be our best option to call him up and send down Aquino. I like Greg but he's blown open two games in a row now and we have to beat our division opponents

I woulda thrown Dessens..
but honestly now am I the only person who feels like Wise and Aquino throw perfect batting practice everytime they get in a game.. Idk I thought when Sheets went the full 7 innings, we had the game. especially with Tbow and Cordero but I suppose they need rest too. dang tho that was a game we should won

yeah, yost said on another day, he mighta put CoCo in in the 9th when it was tied...but he already worked 2 days in a row. and if the game went extra innings, you'd need somebody else anyway. i still think it was the right decision to save him for why ya have him...to protect the lead in the 9th.
big game tonight.
