The consensus amongst most of the mods is that we should wait another year, or half a year at least, before doing another one so that what we'll do.

I'll bring it up again this summer.

Bring it up in February. Pretty sure that's when the last one was done, and you'll probably get more interest with it being after football season when people are bored. Not sure we need to wait a year, but I do think this should be a small class. The last one was really big.

Also, don't put out a preliminary list. That seems like you're filling out a ballot (even if it is a tentative list), and people feel compelled to pick their 6-8 guys from the list. That's gonna push in a lot of guys in who might not deserve it. Just give us a qualification requirement (ie. have to have joined before such-and-such, needs to have hit the 10,000 posts feat, etc.). Then guys can start thinking on their own and looking up who comes to mind. We shouldn't have to remind people who should or could be considered. It should pop into our minds pretty quickly, and we'll go from there.

Also, why don't all mods go directly in via the mod/admin portion? As far as I'm concerned, if you're a mod, then you deserve your shoutout in there.
