The tale of these forums are as old as life itself (if life itself started in 2004). From the highs of Draft Day celebrations and new Moderator announcements to the lows of March Madness Freakouts and attempts to go to the Mecca, this forum has been through a lot. Unfortunately, it is about to be rocked by the ultimate destruction. A number of formerly banned users have been plotting their revenge, some for years now, to complete the ultimate takeover of the Draftcountdown Forums and even the website itself. The banned users have now hacked the website! They now have the power to execute user accounts and are challenging the current users to find them. They have even hacked into various accounts and are posing as current users! Your job, if you choose to accept it, is to save the website and the forum from the nasty users with a grudge and ban them all! Game Start: Sunday December 2nd, 8:00 PM EST (Hopefully to finish/close to over when finals start hitting people) -Plan is for a two weekish game. -36 Hour Clock -This will likely be my last actual Mafia game to run or play in. Game will generally run like a standard mafia game with two caveats: 1. Role claiming AND “character” claiming are allowed 2. Each “character” will have a specific quirk that they must use each “day” they post. Some will give away their characters, some will not 3. I will have a roster of SWDC users to use based on sign-ups. So, if 25 people sign-up, I will have 25 non-banned user characters. Before the game, I will use random.org to assign however many members of the mafia there are to regular characters. They will then get both their Banned member character AND the regular character to pose as. (An example from the Star Wars game. The Luke Skywalker character may be randomly selected to Darth Vader to use as cover and not actually exist on the Rebel side). I will adjust night powers accordingly. 4. There will be power-up games every “Day”. I will announce at the start of the Day when these will take place (they will only take place if voting has not ended by the time the power-up game occurs. Many will be trivia based. Let me know if you have any questions! Sign-ups +=confirmed
