Well, the word that pretty much covers the season up to date is "Eh".

I'm hoping they get rolling soon.

I would say that our biggest issue so far is 2-5 Starters.

Forgot to mention this. I went to the game Friday night and Livan threw me a ball during BP which was cool. I then got it signed by Putz after the game. Reyes almost did as well but I wasn't as lucky but pretty cool none the less.

Good to see a nice game from Maine tonight. Wright also showed some signs of breaking out of his slump. What do you guys think we do with the C situation when Scheinder gets called up? I'd like to keep 3 catchers but I'm not really sure we can afford to send someone else down.

I feel Omir Santos is our best offensive catcher

I'm with you on Ollie. Green is much more of a situational guy than I realized. I miss Joe Smith.

Havens has been beasting it in St. Lucie so far. I really hope he's the answer to our 2B prayers in the future. He looks like a Chase Utley lite to me. Mejia has also been nasty. St. Lucie and Savannah have a ton of guys performing really well right now. Fernando has been stepping it also the last week. He has 10 2B's and 3 Hr's which is a nice sign of his power to come.

Ike Davis has started the season well also, although not a ton of power.

He has 9 2B's and 1 HR so far. Those doubles will translate into homers as he adds a little more muscle to his frame. As we know the FSL is a pitchers league because of all the big parks so it's a good sign he's racking up the doubles.
