I don't really know what people expect. The throw led to a god damn TD. I will take that any day of the week and consider it a good throw while I do it.

Poor execution resulting in a positive play doesn't make the poor execution better. If Flacco leads his receiver by throwing the ball properly it's a TD. The fact that Jones made a GREAT play on the ball doesn't mean Flacco threw the ball well.

A trap QB that you can't win with is going to be the Super Bowl MVP and tied the record for most TDs in a single postseason without an INT.

Ian Rapoport @RapSheet
#$9ers coach Jim Harbaugh made a gutsy call replacing Alex Smith with Kaepernick. Does he switch at halftime? These are the decisions...

The throw was fine. I've never said it was great. It was in a spot where only Jones could make a play on it. The throw wasn't poor, nor was it very poor.

So Smith comes in and leads them to a win. I'm picturing him riding away from team headquarters giving them the one gun salute.

Cmon you aren't being serious. If the defender even glances over his shoulder that's a pick due to where it was thrown. The only spot where Jones could make a play on it with zero chance of the defender making a play would be IN STRIDE with his WR who was wide open.
Can't believe you are arguing something so clear-cut. When your receiver has 5 yards on a defender and you under-throw him by 10 yards you are giving the defender a shot at breaking the play up.
The throw was poor. Lead the receiver and it's 6 points and you don't rely on your WR making an excellent diving catch in order to get to the ball.

Hate? Flacco is going to get paid and rightfully so. No need to blow him as well. You can be a fan of a player without needing to gobble his nob at every opportunity.
It was a poor throw and an excellent adjustment by his wide outs. Flacco has had a number of excellent throws in the game if you need me to quote them.
By the way edit faster.
