Lerentee McCray, OLB, Gators

Can anyone else see McCray being solid as a DE in 4-3? He is strong at the point of attack with good quickness and burst. He uses his hands really well and plays with great leverage. Plus, he has a very high motor and plays better with his hand on the ground. The guy does not stop. He seems to try to rush to the outside most of the time, but if he would embrace his bull rush ability, he could be very solid. I wonder if he could bulk up and play as a 4-3 DE?

Anyone want to share their opinion?

EDIT: I just saw he did play DE for the Gators this season. First year at the position.

mccray tends to show up in big tv games and is a ghost the rest of the time. Possible 6/7 pick?

If a team felt they could insert him at 4-3 DE he would be a nice selection at that spot. With a little more coaching and strength I can see him being a solid guy. Thanks for the input.
