Phoenix gets a good solid bust, solid. And I don't want McLemore.

Give the Bulls McCollum in that mock. He represents the best value and highest upside left. He could become a Lou Williams (6th man of the year version) for us.

Also what are peoples' thoughts on Kentavious Caldwell-Pope? Is he similar to Aaron Afflalo or Courtney Lee or does he compare to someone else?
Thanks

Sounds good. We can re-sign Calderon, throw whatever money at Iguodala in FA, and then run with Calderon/McLemore/Iggy/Monroe/Drummond for many Championships.

You definitely don't want to throw money at Igoudala. He's so pulling a Gerald Wallace very quickly after signing his next contract.

While this draft isn't particularly strong at the top , there are definitely some intriguing prospects in that mid-late 1st range.

He is approaching 30 and, being a guy that relies on sheer athleticism for a good deal of his value, history says he falls off a cliff soon. There are subtle signs this year of that athleticism fading a little like a declining rebound rate and, well, just watching him.

Given he is a big bodied SF who bangs in the post, that isn't a selling point.....plus, FTs are a thing.

I do like Tobias, but comparing him to Harden is useless.

That's a massive fail on my part if what I said is interpreted as comparing Harris to Harden. I compared their FG% but didn't mean to compare them side by side as a player comparison.

That said, Harden actually takes the majority of his shots at the rim inside 3ft, btw.

The flaws with that argument are numerous:

1. FG% alone is not an accurate measure of efficiency, especially when talking about Harden

2. Harris should have a much higher FG % than Harden considering where he plays

3. Harden is by far the #1 option on his team

4. Harden takes over 6 threes per games, so there ya go

I just want a solid back up big. I would rather Withey or Dieng there.

i just can't see how a player like burke falls out of the top ten, especially in a draft that's thought to be weak.

Because he is Kemba Walker with a jumpshot, but plays a little more reckless. I think teams are scared of injuries. How many times just in the championship game was he laying on the floor for an extra 5-10 seconds?

That's a bit excessive, imo. He was putting up numbers that hadn't been seen in the B1G since like Magic Johnson. Kemba isn't a fraction of the distributor Trey is. I will say it bothers me when Trey's team gets down a bit late and he just starts jacking up deep 3s.

This is true. I was pertaining with size and ability to get into the lane. However, I don't think he is Chris Paul who is the same height but has the strength and balance to get into the lane under control.

I think Burke will be a really good 6th man or the 4th best guy on a really good team.

Well Tobais just became the 2nd player in NBA history to have at least 30 points and 19 rebounds in a game before the age of 21. Only other player: Shaq

I know you don't think he blows, but Brodeur needs a wake up session.

There's no "because". Burke won't make it out of the Top 10.

As a PG, he's as mistake free running a team as they come. He was laying on the floor cause he kept attacking the rim. It happens if you have a PG that has those kind of guts. It's like you've gained that opinion after only seeing him play once or something.

I don't think he will get out of the top ten. I think he is a very good player and will contribute to an NBA team. However, he has faults.

I was just giving reasons why he would fall out of the top ten. BTW, Kemba went 9th overall in a similarly poor draft.

As Buckeye said, that's not true at all. Burke distributes the ball far better than Walker and his range is far better than Walker as well.

Walker and Burke are pretty much terrible comparisons.

This isn't to say Burke is necessarily the best prospect, but right now he's the one player I'm most confident will become a quality starter in the pros.

CJ McCollum is going to be a starting PG in the pros.
