Default Full 7 Round Mock w/ 1st Round Analysis

This was quite the challenge to complete a full 7 round mock draft and I am sure I may have doubled up on a position of need here or there toward the very end of the draft. Thanks for checking out my mock and feel free to tell me how terrible I did for your teams. Happy Draft Month everyone.

That is one hell of a draft for my 49ers, my friend. There are maybe a couple of players I would change at certain picks, but that would just be nitpicking.

props for doing a full 7 rounder.

I'd take Tyler Wilson way before I took Tyler Bray, but not a bad KC mock.

Not a terrible jets mock, they should go TE or S in the 2nd over Woods though as WR isn't really a need until next year when we release Holmes. No TE drafted and no S drafted until round 5 would be pretty bad as those are arguably are 2 biggest needs along with OLB. I have Jawan Jamison going to the Jets in the 6th in my 7 round mock as well so that's neat.

For the Jaguars, I'll take the guys picked right after Floyd/Barkley in Jordan/Eifert and be very happy.

Very nice Miami draft! You hit on most of our glaring needs and added some solid depth.

LOVE the Ray Ray pick <3

My only complaint is that I'd prefer to add a WR sooner than the 7th round and I think they will. A slot option in the middle rounds like Ace Sanders, Ryan Swope or Stedman Bailey are good possibilities.

Thanks. Glad to hear I did a better job this time for the 49ers than the first attempt I had at this.

I like Tyler Wilson much more personally as well. Bray seems so inconsistent passing the ball. He makes a lot of good plays that makes you think he could be a franchise QB and then he just makes some throws that makes it look like he will be a fringe roster spot guy.

Browns: I like Milliner and Collins. Aboushi doesn't make much sense to me unless you see him as a Guard prospect. The rest is fine. Good work.

Interesting for the Titans. Star and Warford are two awesome picks imo. Can't see drafting two SS's after signing two in FA, but overall this looks very solid!

Nice Bills Mock.

I'm not sure we can afford to wait on OG that late would be my only complaint. You did a good job recognizing our needs though, and adding Tavon Austin to our offense would be exciting. Nassib would make it less exciting but what the hell, why not.

for cleveland, taking an offensive tackle in the 4th doesn't make much sense. i would rather take a tight end prospect that has a nice ceiling as a pass catcher to help weeden not suck so much ass

everything else is cool though. barner brings an interesting dynamic to the offense (potentially)

and jamie collins could develop nicely under ray horton

Only thing I noticed that's just wrong on it is Jeremiah Attaochu went back to school. Other than that, good mock for ATL and overall.

Skins

Rd 2 Jamar Taylor, CB - Great pick. Would be happy to get Taylor in the 2nd.

Rd 3 David Bakhtiari, OT - Doesnt make sense for us to take a RT in the 3rd after bringing in 3 in FA and considering Shanahan likes Compton who he drafted last year. We have no starting safeties and we need to take a safety in the 2nd or 3rd that can compete as a starter.

RD 4 Gavin Escobar, TE - Good value. I'd personally prefer a WR after bringing back Fred Davis but Escobar could be a steal in the 4th so hard to argue. Still no safety though...

RD 5 Jeff Baca, OG - Another unnecessary selection with only decent value. Don't see this happening.

RD 5 Cobi Hamilton, WR - Not a huge fan of Hamilton. We need a bigger playmaker who fits more in the slot role.

RD 6 Knile Davis, RB - Not my favorite prospect and Shanahan typically avoids Juniors like the plague.

RD 7 Emory Blake, WR - Well a full draft and no safeties = F

Didn't know you guys signed so many OT. My needs for that position for your team must have been outdated. I made a few minor changes to give you Shamarko Thomas in the 3rd. Bahktiari now goes to the Texans and the Texans wait for a Safety another couple of rounds and add Earl Wolff there. It is not going to change the other guys you do not like but if Tackle is no longer a need then I will not mock one to your team. Thanks for the feedback.

I agree. If their new coach really likes Nassib and they can get him in the 2nd or get guys like Barkley or Manuel instead it gives them a little freedom at #8. I thought Patterson would be their selection outside of QB for a while but it appears Austin could be the guy since he is more consistent catching the ball although both guys are dynamic players and would help them. They could continue to build the Offensive Line also.

I think that the Bills would go with the more consistent proven Austin(even if he is only a slot). He would also open up the running and passing game more because this would allow teams to key on not just Stevie and Spiller. The Bills also worked out a ton of Tennessee prospects yesterday. The one they didn't work out.....Cordarelle Patterson. Smokescreen you say? Possibly, but the Bills have never been a team to keep things under lock and key until the draft. Austin makes too much sense as a player who would change the dynamic of the program, fill a need, and not be a tremendous reach.

They have already said a bunch of times they want to move Stevie into the slot and work the under routes by adding a outside threat. That is why I don't see Tavon really being a possibility at 8. I would like it but I don't see it happening.

Aboushi as a OG (I'm assuming that's where you figured he'd fit on the Browns) is interesting. However, TE is a much greater need.

Quality saints mock. Mingo and Jenkins in the first and third would be awesome. Nixon in the fourth i dont really like because i dont think Nixon is worth a fourth personally and id much rather have Quessenberry who you have the pick after the saints pick but thats a matter of opinion on value, its not a fundamentally flawed pick.

The only pick i really dont like is the Landry Jones pick. The saints have too many needs to spend a pick on a qb unless its a true high upside pick so a guy with more of an arm than landry jones has. Earl Wolff for instance would be an excellent pick at that point.

Daimion Stafford in the sixth is a fine pick, part of me hopes they take a flyer on Marquess Wilson or Joseph Fauria but thats just a matter of personal taste and guys who i think could be long term contributors in the late rounds, not picks that make that much sense when looking at needs

A very okay draft for sf. Not sure we draft two TE's though.
