What...the...what? Dallas takes Eric Reid over Jonathan Cooper?

hmmm interesting how your Ravens land Brown haha

Hayden's an interesting pick for the Giants and I certainly would be fine with it. Especially how deep this draft is at LB

Mingo to the Jets is solid.

I'd be bummed to see them trade out of 13 with Tavon sitting there, but the trade down is definitely realistic and makes sense. I don't buy the Franklin pick, though. They brought in Goodson as a FA on one of the richer deals they signed anyone to this offseason and it looks like they're going to move a 5 for Chris Ivory. I think that's their 1-2 punch at RB and wouldn't expect them to draft someone at all really, let alone in the late first.

TACKLE,

DT is one of the few spots we don't need to address early. We signed Desmond Bryant, have big Phil Taylor at nose and Rubin at the other end spot. Further, we have Billy Wynn and John Hughes, both of which provide rock-solid depth. It just doesn't make any sense.

Tavon Austin in that circumstance is the way to go, he could help Weed achieve a year of competence.

Most Bills fans will hate it, BallerT would probably hurt someone physically if it really happens, but it certainly is a real possibility.

The Packers pick 26th and I would be stunned if they traded down with a divisional team.

Would not be shocked if this was the case for SF, I'm not sure I'd be upset by it either.

drink up! could've gone either way. as much as i'm aware of how well cooper would fit in there, with the exception of tyron, they don't seem as committed to improving their o-line through high draft picks as maybe they should be. maybe this is the year that changes or maybe this is the year they prioritize finally addressing the safety position after spending a lot of money on that secondary with mixed results. also, i think reid is a guy who has a good chance of going quite a bit earlier than people are expecting and a guy they are said to be high on.

I think that's their 1-2 punch at RB and wouldn't expect them to draft someone at all really, let alone in the late first.
i understand why you'd be bummed but this is a team with a lot and could use more picks to improve the roster AND the difference in value from the mid teens to the late 1st is very comparable. For a team that is still built to run the ball, i'm not sure how comfortable i'd be with ivory and goodson as my '1-2 punch'.

i took a chance on this one. the browns have been closely linked to sheldon richardson throughout the process. at very least they've shown interest in him every step along the way. also, there has been a decent amount of chatter about them trying to trade rubin. this pick is kind of depends on that coming to fruition. so if we took rubin out of the equation, you got bryant at one end, phil backed up by hughes at nose then sheldon at the other end spot with billy wynn as a rotational player. i get the sense that lombardi is much more apt to take a big athletic dl/pass rusher rather than an undersized reciever. i understand why you might not like it but just letting you know where i'm coming from. like i said in the op, this is a draft playing around with scenarios based off rumors and information out there.

i really wasn't trying to be 'that guy' but i felt there were more likely options for nyg, chi, cin, and minny and undersized, non-pass rushing lb's tend to fall.

lmao. oh thebow, always so overdramatic when it comes to mock drafts. there's a new phenomenon where teams take the highest rated player on their board or the "best player available". i really like randy starks but they have some big bodies but could use an interior pass rusher. i considered a cb. xavier is really a fit and hayden was a consideration but the question of value andi think ireland might have too much pride to trade away vontae than take a cb in the first in the following draft. i certainly considered tank and i do recognize he fills a more obvious need. i'm not really buying tavon there after all the money they've poured into that position. gave vaccaro some consideration too. so it came down to floyd, tank, hayden, and vaccaro and although i might not personally agree, i felt sharrif pretty clearly held the highest percieved value of those four names.

i thought about this but we've seen it happen a few times in recent years. it's probably more of a bugaboo with some teams than others so it's hard to say which specific teams would be opposed to this, but in this instance it seemed to make a lot of sense for both teams.

i knew whoever i gave margus to wouldn't like it but i'm still buying the hype that he's going somewhere in the first. i think indy will want to rebuild that front seven and i think when you have a great defensive mind in chuck, he's gonna find a way to develop an athlete like that and make him succeed in his defense. bjoern was my other main consideration but i'm not sure if he holds as much value as 34 olb.

Rebuilt? It's been together one year and we already signed new starters for 3 positions. It's still being built. I don't trust that Hunt has the ability to anchor necessary to play DE in this defense.

Dion Jordan, I'd take that over Floyd all day.
