From a Colts homer perspective, I'd want to see Mathis at one of the DE spots, and perhaps Dwayne Allen in at TE.

On offense, there is no one worth while at TE unless you think old man Antonio Gates can get over his foot injuries. I went with the versatility of Charles/McFadden/Reece instead. You can line any of those guys up at the line of scrimmage in the slot or as a flanker, Reece can play TE for you and they all can carry the rock.

On defense, I wanted to go with a versatile 4-3 scheme with J.Houston and Miller as my OLBs, but there just isn't anyone I'd feel comfortable with as 4-3 MLB and I wanted to get Derrick Johnson in there. So it's a 3-4 scheme, but you can easily turn it into a 4-3 with Liuget or L.Houston squeezing in and pull Miller or J.Houston's hand in the dirt.

If I add another player on defense, it's probably Tyvon Branch so that my nickel would look like this

DE Von Miller
DT Lamarr Houston
DT Corey Liuget
DE Justin Houston
LB Derrick Johnson
LB Kevin Burnett
CB Champ Bailey
CB Brandon Flowers
S Eric Berry
S Eric Weddle
S Tyvon Branch

In that scheme, I could have Branch or Berry cover the slot, while Weddle and the other play 2 deep. Or have Weddle play centerfield and have the other safety blitz.

I think that's a fair team really. Although it does appear to be Titan and Texan loaded, it's really pretty accurate. Some could be altered somewhat, but in whole I think you'd still come up with the texans and titans leading the way.

My assessment of yours:
QB: Pretty clear cut at the moment in my eyes. One could argue Schaub due to experience, but he's someone I've never been impressed with and personally I think Luck is already better.
RB: I don't think this is as clear cut as some may think. Foster benefits from the scheme and O-Line, while CJ put up good numbers behind a poor offenive line and poor offense in general. MJD would be rin the battle if healthy. Right now I'd give the edge to Foster, with CJ and MJD close behind.
WR: The two veteran Miami WRs are pretty much established until they finally decline in the next couple years. Shorts is underappreciated and deserving of that spot in my eyes. Britt, Blackmon, Hunter, Wright all could battle in the future.
TE: I'm with FOB, I'd go with Allen. Just a more complete TE for what I look for.
O-Line: I think that's pretty much a given. If you're allowing position changes Roos is fine, if not gotta go with Stewart

D-Line: This is tough as we're projecting both 4-3 and 3-4 guys. In a 3-4 Smith and Watt would have the end spots. In a 4-3 Morgan should be a lock. Casey is the best 43 DT in the division and one of better in the league also. I think you probably did it the best way you could.
LB: Right now I think I'd go with Poz over Cushing, factoring in Cushings injury
CB: I think that's right
S: These guys are actually reversed. Bethea is a decent safety, but he hasn't had an interception since 2010. It's pretty sad for a FS to have a streak of 35 games without an interception. Now i'm not a Michael Griffin fan, and Bethea can at least tackle, but Griffins had 6 during that span. I'd still probably give the edge to Bethea, but man is it sad that that's the best FS in this division right now.

I agree with Greenway over Bishop.
Disagree with Pettigrew over Randolph.
Also feel the Bears or Lions have to have an OL able to make the team there....
I don't believe the Bears have the best 2 CB's and best 2 legs in the PK and Punter.
Vikings kicker was Godlike last year.

Cobb vs Jennings is a very interesting one..... close call.
Jennings is flatout great when healthy.
Cobb is flatout electric and dangerous when healthy.
Each can do some things the other guy can't, as well.
Both are great.

Pettigrew vs. Randolph was very close.
The offensive lines across the board aren't very good. I couldn't justify putting an Bear on there.
Jennings lead the league in interceptions last year and Tillman is better than Heyward, so that is why they are both on there.
I probably agree with you on Walsh actually. But I went with Gould for a lifetime achievement award. He is the 6th most accurate kicker of all time (and two of the guys ahead of him have only played for two years). As for punter, Masthay had a better average, but Podlesh had a better net average and more downed inside the 20.

I don't watch the other division foes after we play them so won't bother. I plead ignorance on that, especially DTs, and OL.

On defense, I had a few reservations, namely at SS, where I could have plugged 3 guys in. Honestly, Mark Barron going into his second year could seperate himself, as he showed awesome flashes as a rook, but not yet. Moore gets the nod right now. Also, four newcomers (Revis, Goldson, Umenyiora & Lotulelei) have made the cut without playing a game for their new teams. My judgement there, but I grade them all out best at their positions amongst their fellow starters. On offense, I didn't realize how weak we are at RT as a division, but it ain't pretty. I actually considered putting one of the divisions considerable depth at OG in that RT slot. And what an offense that looks like. Yikes. The WR's left off include Marques Colston & Vincent Jackson, the RB's left off include Steven Jackson & DeAngelo Williams, and Jimmy Graham at TE is another that would be on most divisions' rosters.

Selections per team:

Falcons - 8
Buccaneers - 8
Panthers - 4
Saints - 4

Seeing the Panthers tied for the lead with six, and perhaps due to homerism. I had a tough time putting Julio over Steve Smith, but even though Smith is still playing at a high level despite his age, I would definitely take Julio Jones if I could only have one of them this year. Dwan Edwards having a spot on this list is attributable primarily to the weakness of the division's defensive tackles rather than his own prowess.

Geez that looks ugly. Someone has to be on there over Kerley, there has to be someone right? Amendola or Hartline? Hell he is coming off an injury and is old, but I would put Santonio on there before Kerley.

I'd take Kerley over Holmes. He actually had a decent year considering how god awful Sanchez and that offense was. Give him a decent QB and the jump that most receivers make in year 3, and I could see him being a consistent 80-1000 guy out of the slot.

I understand that the Bills aren't good, but Kyle Williams needs to be on this team

I don't see how he would make it over Wilkerson or Wilfork though.

Yeah, the AFC east isn't very good.
I would make a few changes to that roster.

I'd have Amendola over Kerley without a second's thought.

I'd have Spikes over Harris who is every bit the 2 down backer Spikes is but not as impactful, I would have pretty much anyone over Ellerbe who is overrated and I would have Reshad Jones over McCourty, and this is coming from like the biggest McCourty fan on this board...well outside Scotty of course

Both Williams and Dareus would be options but it's tough to argue when you have 2 of the top 5 or 6 DTs in the league in the one division, and probably 4 of the top 10 or 12, actually including Starks probably 5

Amendola has never had a season as good as Kerley just had, and is really brittle.

Harris is better in pass coverage than Spikes while I might agree with you about Spikes being more impactful. I labored about this choice more than any other tbh.

I'm not a huge Ellerbe fan and think that Dansby was 2x the linebacker he is, but who else is there to put in? Dion Jordan? Dont'a Hightower? Manny Lawson? There isn't much else in the division.

The Rashad Jones-McCourty thing came down to range. With Byrd and McCourty the top would be completely taken away regardless of who they played.
