Bitcoins hit $1200 USD and somebody is arguing that Owens saw his career end prematurely. Is this real life? This must be a dream, and I'm expecting to wake up any moment now.

This forum has gotten so ******* stupid. I've pretty much admitted to myself at this point that I essentially come here to troll, because that's the only kind of dialogue that occurs anymore. I haven't had an interesting conversation about football in... years now, maybe? It's been a good while. Part of it's that the site doesn't have much content anymore, part of it is the media culture around the NFL. They don't give a **** about football; football's just the stage for all their other peripheral storylines.

So anyways, what team is Browner going to play for next? Is anyone going to want him at all?

When he gets off his suspension and will take a cheap deal I'm interested. Good corners are still hard to find.

Its a big risk bringing in Browner at this point so no team is going to spend big time money on him. This reeks of patriots to me put Browner on the other side of Talib. I could see a few other teams making that call but he lost millions.

But I do have to ask do you think that the league's stance on marijuana should be different for those states that the drug is legal or does it change if it becomes legal throughout the US?

It's only legal in those states not national. It's league policy so it's the nfls call.

I think that if it's legalized nationwide, it would be stupid for the NFL to continue testing/punishing players for using it. Other recreational drugs are fine, and marijuana is definitely not a PED.

I don't think that they should treat the Broncos and Seahawks differently just because they're in states where marijuana use is legal.

Personally, if I were dictator of the NFL, I wouldn't care what kind of drugs these guys are doing in their free time. I don't think I'd even care about PED's, because we all know that most of these guys are juicing anyway.

Honestly, they shouldn't even really be so hard up on marijuana. We have more severe problems, like guys addicted to painkillers, drinking problems, driving drunk, etc. than worrying about guys getting a little high.
Anyways, it wouldn't surprise me if Browner takes a cheap deal to remain a Seahawk.
He's old, and this, he isn't getting a big deal. I mean maybe some team will offer him a 1 year deal for like $1-2, but I just don't see any longterm deal in the works.

Also, Jordan's absurd dislike for Welker is hilarious.
90 catches, 1000 yards and 10+ TD's is such a horrible season for a WR

I have to disagree. Marijuana is still illegal in 48 states. IMO, from what I've seen from a few people who use it on a daily basis, they're fried and seem out of it and only 24-25 years old. It's a small rant but I've used in college on a few basis. It's fun but I'd never use it again.

I think it's up to the commissioner to determine that if it ever does become legal. But right now, there's no exception bc Washington and Colorado have it legalized.

With Browner, it's his 2nd time in two years he's messed up and broken the rules.

On your take on Roids: come on dude. There has to be discipline. I'd say 40-50% of the players are on something in sorts of PEDs. But not everyone is an idiot to put that stuff in their bodies.

You and I have had completely different experiences with marijuana. I've hated it. I don't think it's fun and I wouldn't knowingly use it ever again, but the daily smokers that I know are absolutely not always fried. They usually have their act together more than the people who take zanax.

Edit: had to misspell to get around the censors. The fancy scientific version is also censored.

I've only used in instances when I was young and party mode. It was fun sometimes. The last time when I was 21 I hated the way it made me feel. 25 now. Haven't touched it since Jr year in college.

I think people have certain reactions to it. The two I know are addicted to the point they need to smoke it to enjoy things. Not good friends with them any more. They just sound baked/fried all the time.

Terrell Owens is playing as much as Jerry Rice right now. I'd rather be Jerry Rice and Terrell Owens and know I could average legitimate WR averages, than doing 10.4 yards/catch.
